Hi All,
I am 6-boxing a Lvl 116 group (max AA), currently in Western Wastes at the zone in, farming some snowsquall armor pieces from the first named Rildar Blackstone. What would be a good next step? My equipment is mostly from Tier1 Eastern Wastes/Great Divide nameds, and faded snowbound. Should I stay in WW and farm the other nameds first, or try my luck in any of the Tier 2 zones in CoV?
Group is WAR/CLR/BRD/ROG/WIZ/MAG, group dps is around 550k currently on trash mobs, 1.5m dps on Rildar.

Many thanks

Drop back to Cobalt Scar and farm Morwenna Undertow for hdex augs and ore for t3 weapons. Once you have a few weapons and t3 armors take a stab at zlandicar mission.

Not sure how much the price is on your server, but there is also Faded Waxing TOL armor you can buy in the bazaar. Varies around 8k - 9k hp and just needs the NPC purchased Waxing crescent honed luclinite (22,000) so you could pump up your group with that.

CoV crafted T3 armor will take you pretty far - once you get your guys geared up in that youll be set for awhile

My SK was in T3 CoV most of the way thru ToL

Once you can handle zlandicar mission farm the living snot out of it
then try Shei Vinitras mission in ToL

I would even look at farming seeking the sorcerer in velks (ToV)
not as great of augs but will fill the holes until you get better

As someone who did just this recently...

Farm ToL named in Maiden's and UP for the armor pieces, or buy them outright on the bazaar. ToL T1 Faded Waxing, 3-10k a piece on my server currently plus the 22k token x 8, x 6. Except for the price gougers selling at 150k+ but to give you an idea, there are 27 chests, 43 heads, 34 legs alone avail on the baz on my server. I won't count the rest LOL. While at 115-117 they are below CoV T3, they progressively get better as you level and surpass the CoV t3 crafted gear. This alone will net you enough to farm Shei and upgrade to both T2 and T3 pieces. ToL mission named are dropping 2 ores per kill. Take advantage while you can, plus they also drop T2 pieces as well.

CoV Morwenna? IMHO, skip her. Pathing is horrible there, boxes do weird stuff, it isn't worth the hassle. YMMV, but I gave up after the 2nd or so kill, it was just so odd.

Once you have the armor pieces mentioned above, you can farm the CoV missions for the ores and use them for augs, misc pieces, etc until you get more ToL gear.

i personally think morwenna is worth it, unless you're on FV and can get mission currency easily.

I've done a LOT of hours there - and any toon you want hdex on it is worth figuring out how to make that area work for you

Are you pulling her to the rock? That seems to be a major issue for me. Pathing seems wild, toons swimming off etc.

Don't forget Ol Grinnin Finley as well. Nice corner camp spot out of the way of most anyone else in the zone.

If your Tank is in at least ToV Group made armor, and you have a cleric and decent dps you can oneshot Zlandicar in about 60-90 seconds. Might have to use a Glyph to get through the start...but after that should be cake. War's are best for Zlandi...but SK's/Pal's can make it through if you play them well.

I was having consistent Zlandi kills w/ War in full snowbound Tov T-1 for non visibiles, bard, cleric, enc, zerk zerk. Got all tank ores and it was cake therereafter

I used pet pull to pull Morwenna to my crew. Camped her til I got all hdex-augs for 3 toons. Took some time, but gave me several T3 updates for my tank while farming the hdex augs. Her ugly root got my puller killed just at the first attempt to pull her.

A bit of information missing from your post. You are max AA at116, but you mention equipment that is T1 / non-prestige. So the advice about hDex augs may not be relevant depending on account status (and only a couple of your toons would benefit from hDex anyway).

Assuming you have access to ToL, I would skip CoV completely for gearing purposes and go to ToL. Waxing Crescent is better than CoV T1, and can be used at you level. All T1 loot is non-prestige (if that matters) and easy to farm. Shei is the new Griklor, and with the right reacts / Lua can be farmed for augs.

I personally hated CoV, so I might be biased, but I would move right past and go back for the /ach later.

Could someone please help me understand the term "huntertank the entire area" please.

I camped morwena a lot to trey for hdex augs, but probably went the old way of setting a camp and pulled the PH/morwena to there to tank/dps her down. But pathing is horrible and toons just went walkabout!

Huntertank, does that involve having the whole team follow the Tank?

Yes and it is way less obvious than pullertank :)

Morwena camp is notorious for pathing. If you set your camp away from the boarder it's not so bad. I actually prefer a camp and manual pulling there. When Morwena pops I will adjust my camp location so I have direct line of sight. Using Hunter Tank you might end up grabbing mobs outside of Morwena's PH's. If that's the case it will be like the domino effect. You will keep going to the next mob in your radius. I am ASSuming your tank is using CWTN plugin...

Huntertank but keep the radius within bounds and ignore the sharks, there is a path issue at the edge that can take them and you all the way north or south and break things. There is also a corner between the little boulder on the ground and the big rock that you can get nav stuck on. I manually added a no-go zone there on the mesh and it seems to help.

Ive always done ole grinning instead, and sell the type 5's he drops for currency. The spawn on him and drop rate of his type 5's is nearly 2x the hdex ones, with 0 issues on pathing if you ignore the other sharks and set proper Z heights.
