Question - complete noob and new

Hi there, just joined and just wanting to set up my toons, 3/4 box, and afk and level, but im not good at understanding most the lingo i see in most the threads here, can someone point me to another thread/video for afk boting my group? Thank you for reading this and for any assistance

Help us out a little. Can you list the class for each character and what Role you plan on using for each. Example:

Warrior Tank, Bard Puller and Mezer, Druid Healer, Mage Assist.

100 monk for pulls/dps, 100 sham for dots and back up heals, 100 bard for twist and dps/cc if needed, 94 ranger for dps, and 2 100 j5 mercs for tank and cleric

Well you will need to setup your KA.ini files correctly for each of your characters, but here is how I would setup your group.

Monk - KA Role PullerTank Group Role Puller.
Shaman - KA Role assist. Target Monk and start KA. Set your AssistAt to 98.
Bard - KA Role Assist. Target Monk and start KA. Set your AssistAt to 98.
Ranger - KA Role Assist. Target Monk and start KA. Set your AssistAt to 98

You can tweak the AssistAt to better fit your group. Set your Merch tank to tank on the group roles.

Everything else in your characters INI file is up to you. There are a few posts with example ini's you can use to start with..

I make my toons assist at 2 -3 percent apart just so it also give illusion of actually being at computer. Like as if it took me a few seconds to switch between toons

Thank you found a few ini's im gonna be trying, see how well i can work it haha

I tried to do that, but for some reason the mob drops so fast that in order to actually look like I am moving between toons I had to use large gaps. What %'s are you staggering assist at? I tried 98,95,93 but the mob went to 90 so fast it looked like they all ran it at the same time anyway.

You may need to change up your tanks DPS strategy. Set up your tank so that he does not do any big DPS until like 85%, then you can setup your other characters to AssistAt to different levels. The problem is, you are doing to much damage to fast so try and back off on the DPS on your tank. The other option is to move to a higher level zone where the mobs have more HP and then you may not have to change anything, just your location.
