Compiler question

I used to compile my own using VC6++ but after my computer crashed I got windows vista and have not been able to download a version of VC6++ says it is not compatible with that version of windows.

What other compiler will work with vista so that I can compile my own again? MQ2 site says only the vc6++ and vc.net one will compile mq2.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
