AmericanNero submitted a new resource:

Yet Another Tradeskill Combine Masher But Betterer - Tradeskill combine button mash with skill level and quantity caps with ability to destroy

Why Use combineAN?
1) Won't quit unexpectedly, such as when eq lags a bit.
2) Provides the ability to just make everything
3) Provides the ability to make a certain number of items
4) Provides the ability to stop combines when you reach a certain skill level
5) Provides the ability to destroy the result so you don't flood your inventory
6) Walk away and mow the lawn

It produces some helpful messages in the chat window to guide you along.

If you don't know the recipe, experiment...

When using the "/mac combineAN 0 100 " command it is not stopping at skill 100 it just does all the combines.

Looks to me like that command is supposed to stop at skill level 100, not 100 combines. So if your skill level is already above 100, or you can no longer advance your skill with the combine, it will just do all the combines.

If you wanted to stop after 100 combines, the command would be just "/mac combineAN 100".

Hi! And thank you for using my humble macro.

These are the two parameters:

First: SuccessCountCap
Second: SkillLevelCap

By running the command: /mac combineAN 0 100, you are telling it to make everything (0 means everything) and stop when you reach skill level 100. Instead, if you ran /mac combineAN 100, as vandersl points out, it would have stopped after 100 items.

Hope this helps,
AN

I think you have it backwards.
From the Overview:
Usage: /mac combineAN itemcount skilllevel
/mac combineAN - Make everything!
/mac combine 100 - Make 100.
/mac combineAN 100 0 - Make 100 items. Skill level doesn't matter.

/mac combineAN 0 0 - Make all the things.
/mac combineAN 0 100 - Stops when skill level reaches 100. Number of items doesn't matter.

Sorry AmericanNero, just saw your messages.

I wanted it to stop at skill 100, but it continued on past that. The skill started at 54. Crafting the Tailored Quiver, I had 150 Cat pelts on me. It used all 150 cat pelts and the skill was at 115 before I noticed. Could it possibly have something to do with also telling it to destroy the combine?

The destroy flag didn't do anything. I forgot to remove it from the instructions. To destroy something, you put it on your cursor before you start. I tested quite a bit after your report above, and was unable to reproduce it other than if I swapped the parameters.

Thank your for this mac. I was chasing some squirrels in EMU and this really helped as some of the other TS macs are not as EMU friendly. Simple and works. Cheers!

I have tried many different things to get this to run not sure what is wrong. Typed /mac combineAN 65, /mac combineMediumQualityMetalRings 65 and loads of other variations of this. at the end of it says tradskill window must be open. have forge open. I have all the nessisary items it calls for but have no clue.

Parameters must be in order. Setting a parameter to 0 tells it to ignore it.

Examples:
/mac combineAN - Make everything!
/mac combine 100 - Make 100.
/mac combineAN 100 0 - Make 100 items. Skill level doesn't matter.

/mac combineAN 0 0 - Make all the things.
/mac combineAN 0 100 - Stops when skill level reaches 100. Number of items doesn't matter.
/mac combineAN 100 100 - Stops when either 100 items are made or skill level 100 is reached.

Figured problem out has been 12 Years since made anything. It needed recipe window open TY SIC
