Question - Cleric (Leader) and 5 Warrior Bots Question (mq2 e3)

I'm not sure how different this question would be if I'm using MQ2 and E3. I'm running a cleric and have 5 warrior bots. When we have more than one extended target I often have to heal one of the warriors. If the target dies while I begin casting the warriors stand around and do not auto attack the next extended target because we cant's press Hotkeys while casting. What's a workaround or a 'kill everything within distance on Extended Target' macro I should look for?

In the warriors .ini , not sure where else I would set a MA/MT.

Also, I'm playing the Cleric and not a tank, so my targets are almost always the Warrior bots. I agro pull mobs to us.

I'm looking for a way for them to auto beat stuff up so I can play the healer.

With those settings I dont know what program you're running. KA or Warrior class plug and Id be able to help more. You want them to be assisting. You also might want to make sure you've downloaded meshes or they wont be able to move.

As far as I know it's just called MQ2 and E3 . I know it's not KA. I'll check out KA if I can't get this rolling at all. 'Assist' is a funny word when nothing is assisting the LDR.

You need to assign the tank and puller via a command (/bc set tank Maintankname Puller Pullername) not in the ini file. Only then after you set both of those and call /assistme will they attack and clear everything on the xtarget list. You would then need to /assistme for every new batch of npcs you pull into camp to start the process all over again. If you want something that is more hands off, I'd look at KissAssist.

For such situations I like Buttonmaster. The ingame-Hotbuttons behave like you describe. The Hotbuttons from Buttonmaster are always executed at click, wether you are casting atm or not.

right click on your toon name and clik roles make a tank and assist and puller

in group box, right click the character you want to be the main tank, select main tank do same for MA. can also set up puller here main looter etc. this sets it so the rest of the group ingame ( using everquest game mechanics ) know who is who and what they are supposed to be doing

I have tried, but it also takes control of the cleric (the toon I'm playing) and it drives me bonkers =) . If I could run that without my toon being controlled that would be perfect.
