What is the function of these instructions?
#Chat Tell
#Chat Group

Is this needed to use events from normal and group tells?
If I want to use spells wearing off as a event do I need to add a instruction to allow that type of event?

you need exact wording.. so you can borrow a portion of it for your event line..

#tell and #group are precompiler directives that tell the macro what channels to watch for in order to fire the Sub Event_Chat routine. Any spell or environment-related text does not need any directives to make them work. any regular #event will work fine.
