Question - chat channel entries

Recently my chat box is being spammed by entries showing people either entering or leaving chat channels. Two of my toons are using mq2 and getting this. A third toon, on a laptop without mq2, is not getting it. If mq2 is the cause of this, how do I turn it off?

Haha just had to figure this out myself. What turns this on? It’s super annoying

I think Sic does it in the wee hours of the morning....
