Problem - Chase/assist issue

So I drive with my tank using MQ2Eskay and my bard uses kiss. I've noticed that when on chase mode and the tank aggros something the bard just STOPS where he is and if he is a certain distance away he doesn't move in to engage the mob. I've alt+tabbed back to the bard and seen him halfway across the map because he won't chase whenever the tank has aggro on a mob. In the attached image you can see the entire group fighting a mob, the mob is at 56% and my bard who assist's at 98% is just hanging out because the tank aggroed the mob while the bard was outside assist range. The bard will stay there until the fight is done then continue chasing. If he is within range he will assist, if he is out of range he just stands there until the mobs die.

Is there a way to increase the bard's "assist range" or some sort of chase setting where he will continue to catch up to the tank even if the tank aggros a mob?

Edit to add: It is not an FPS or window in the background issue because it happens even when the bard is in the foreground. Also edited out name on photo.

i hear about others that have this issue, i do huntertank with mq2war and a bard in kissassist and i dont seem to have this problem, so i am wondering if you could post your bards ini, and i could check up against mine?

okay campadius for your bard is 1000

thats too much, keep it around 30, campradius in kiss is more used for telling kiss hey i am now back at my camp when pulling and such and moving characters back to camp loc after a fight.

then i would also usemq2melee=0, it has a bad influence on bard sometimes when they try and mez.

and then TargetSwitchingOn=1 is primarily for tanks to allow them to switch targets. at will if you need to. for the bard it might be interupting him target selecting for mez and assist after the mez.

meleedistance=75 is good enough for huntertank, but generally that is the attack and assist if mob is within this distance. sorta like campradius is for mq2cwtn plugins.
 
I use KA 12 to run my bard also and I also drive my SK and have the remainder of the group /chase my SK. Here are numbers that work pretty well for me in my bard's KA INI file.

I found it's critical for my chase distance to be less than my melee distance if I want to ensure the bard always catches up and engages the mob.

My melee distance is 75 and chase is 25. The problem is once the SK gets aggro l,the bard just stops running he doesn’t catch up at all until after the mob is dead.
 
Uuuuusually camp radius is ~25-40. When ReturnToCamp is on your char will run back to the center, but, if the char is within the campradius, it shouldn't.
 
in your melee settings you also just have Snaproll with no parameters.

This could be causing some issues.

its because of the 1000 campradius

This makes a lot of sense. With a giant camp radius anytime the tank aggrieved something, the bard gets aggro because of his songs, and he just stops running because he thinks he is in camp already!!
 
the bard is basically allways in camp, and then when mobs are agroing the tank, he thinks hey there are shit in my camp, lets do something about it, and he tries, but they not anywhere near him.
 
I had the same issue related to medon=1 when doing chase. My bard would stop moving to med. Not sure if that helps.
