Question - chars standing on pulls/combat

with kiss assist whenever a mob is pulled chars will stand and i have a downflag for them to sit back down but it makes my chars ping pong up and down easy for someone to report me for using 3rd party

Unless I'm missing something here, the point of the automation is to have the team assist. If you don't want them to assist/move, maybe use /mqp on? This should pause KA on that toon and it will make like a sitting statue =)

i want them to assist i just dont want them standing on combat/pulls

if i pause it with mqp they wont do anything, i just dont want people to report me cause its clear as day i have 3rd party when my casters stand on every pull

also why does my dude wanna cast orgin after i manually cast something with kiss running

Characters auto stand because it's an aggro magnet to have sitting characters when a mob enters camp. Do you like having dead casters? Also, you can just have all the characters sit on mounts and stick with outdoor areas too if you are that worried about it.

At the end of the day, you won't get reported for the behaviors you are experiencing. And people are well aware of boxing. They have no clue if you are using any other tools to help. I think you are over thinking this.

Relax.

Agree with Doc here. Casters should/will stand when a mob comes into camp just as a player would.

Only so much you can do besides not using any automation to hide using automation.

you're not supposed to manually cast things with automation macros running. Doing so triggers the KA "stuck gems" bug detection and uses Origin to break the bug. KA cancels the cast after it starts, so it won't actual teleport you out. If you absolutely need to be manually casting spells, you need to pause the macro to cast your spell and then unpause the macro when you're done casting. But the real answer is to just let the macro run by itself and not worry about it.

As for why they stand when a mob is pulled, that's just how it's programmed to do so. Characters should be fighting with mobs in camp, not sitting on their rear ends. If you are trying to med through combat, there are settings you need to adjust in your ini related to medding.

classic tlp no mounts are in game also im not worried about them getting agro in a group setting i just wanna change whatever i got to change so they dont stand on pulls i dont want people knowing im using 3rd party and chars instant standing when mobs is pulled and not close to camp, also in classic you need your chars sitting 100% allmost to maintain mana i fixed that with downflag but the ping pong is a big red flag have gotten afew people calling me out on it allready

Ahhh!!! That’s where the origin cast comes from! I’ve noticed it before and freaked out. Thanks!

You can utilize AFKTools, (pause when stranger enters radius)

or good old GTFO, (port your group out when stranger enters radius)

If you're "getting called out on it", maybe it's time to rethink the zones you are frequenting. Some zones are worse than others when it comes to drawing attention. If you are in a zone with 5+ other groups, or a social zone like PoK where EVERYONE hangs out, you are going to get people noticing your actions more. Oh and BTW, TLP servers are not your best choice when automating with tools. People real sensitive on those servers...just saying.

Aside from that, if you are that sensitive to what happens when you automate, maybe not automate? Sounds like it's more of a stressor than a help.

you'll want to adjust MedOn, MedStart, MedStop and MedCombat values in your ini. MedCombat=1 will force medding through combat until your reach your MedStop value, which sounds like what you want it to do, stay sitting until done medding. The higher you set MedStart, the sooner you'll trigger the med phase, which will take the character out of combat until you again reach your MedStop value.

But the honest truth is that none of these automation tools will ever look natural to a scrutinizing player. If you allow people to watch you for any length of time, they're going to figure it out. TLP is really not the sort of environment to be taking these tools and I usually advise against it. But to each their own. Just know the risks.

The easiest way for me would be to create a lem-event running on the chars which, based on the distance of the nearest mob, would pause all automation and sit the char and unpause automation when the nearest npc would be closer than the set distance.

Another possible trigger could be an event on the tank, which checks wether the tank is engaged in fight or not, sending commands to the other chars in group to either pause and sit or unpause.
