Question - Character Runs and Sticks to a mob when fleeing

First off, Amazing work so far, this Merc is insanely fun.

However, im running a Mage as a Pet Tank. And as soon as mob starts to flee, the mage runs up and sticks to it.

Im assuming this has something to do with it being a "tank" type of automation? I tried a custom StickHow to Off. Pull Mode is Hunt. Active Mode is Pet Tank.

Am I missing some setting? As soon as a mob turns to flee, it Sticks to the mob.

Do you think that the mage may be losing line of sight, and it is trying to get it again?

Please go into your console, which is under a collapsing headers at the bottom of the mercs window, and change the log level to "debug".

If you see messages when this is happening that mention not being able to see the target, it may be the issue.

If not, let me know! There are a couple of other things we can look at.

This really isn't likely to be stick settings, btw, if you don't have melee on. And removing your custom stick simply causes us to use the default that is hard coded (just an FYI)

Mob is 100% directly infront of me.

I think that I understand what is happening

It's comical, actually!

We compare headings and you are both facing the same direction, and perhaps it did not occur to the original coder that the mob could be in front of you, yet facing away!

In your RGMercs main options
Go to the Tank tab and uncheck the option to move back when the move is behind you... I'm on my phone so I don't remember the exact phrasing.

If that resolved the issues, let me know!

Either way, I will check in on that code when I can XD

I will also look into possible improvements for pet tanking and these types of issues, when I can.

Yup, That setting fixed it! Turned Moveback if mob is behind you to off, and its not chasing anymore.
