Macro Name: cdeadhills.mac

Required Plugins:
Mq2Moveutils
Mq2EBC

Required Inc Files:
spell_routines.inc

How to run this macro: /mac cdeadhills.mac

After the first time you run it you'll want to edit the file it creates mystuff.ini

First you'll want to set up your group. Change the names and macros associated with each one.
Rich (BB code):
[MySettings]
TankName=TANKNAMEGOESHERE
TankMacro=TANKMACROGOESHERE
LooterName=LOOTERNAMEGOESHERE
LooterMacro=LOOTERMACROGOESHERE
Toon1=TOON1NAMEGOESHERE
Macro1=TOON1MACROGOESHERE
Toon2=TOON2NAMEGOESHERE
Macro2=TOON2MACROGOESHERE
Toon3=TOON3NAMEGOESHERE
Macro3=TOON3MACROGOESHERE

For instance, if your tanks name is Bob and he runs kissassist you'll change it to
Rich (BB code):
TankName=Bob
TankMacro=kissassist

Next comes some default settings, but you can change them if you want.

Rich (BB code):
NukeAt=90
NoNukeAt=20
NoDebuffAt=65
DoNuke1=1
DoNuke2=1
DoNuke3=1

NukeAt determines when you start nuking, if you nuke.
NoDebffAt determines the percentage at which you stop debuffing.

DoNuke1-3 determines if you attempt to cast your nukes.

Next come your spells. You'll want to change the rank to the one you have.

Rich (BB code):
SpellNuke1=Mindcleave Rk. II
SpellNuke2=Phantasmal Assault Rk. II
SpellNuke3=Chromaclash Rk. II
SpellMez=Confound Rk. II
SpellAEMez=Slackening Wave Rk. II
SpellRune=Phantasmal Unity Rk. II
SpellRuneBuff=Polyiridescent Rune Rk. II
SpellDot=Mind Squall Rk. II
SpellStun=Empowered Minion Rk. II
SpellTash=Enunciation of Tashan Rk. II
SpellCripple=Demolished Consciousness Rk. II
SpellAura1=Twincast Aura
SpellAura1Message=Twincast Aura
SpellAura2=Mana Reverberation Aura Rk. II
SpellAura2Message=Mana Rev. Aura Rk. II
Buff1=Hastening of Sviir Rk. II
Buff2=Voice of Foresight Rk. II
Buff3=Shield of the Dauntless Rk. II

Buff1-3 are the buffs it will try to cast on the group just after it zones into the mission.

Rich (BB code):
[MyBuffs]
Memento of the Ungod's Suffering=20
Polymorph Wand: Plaguebringer=30
Earring of Brevity=20
Frosted Sash of Frozen Thought=20
Pauldrons of Precision=20
Band of Brevity=20
Gunthak Swabby's Eyepatch=40
Staff of Eternal Eloquence=30
Bloodmetal Inlaid Gnollish Totem=30

These under MYBUFFS are your custom item buffs, you'll want to set it to whatever items you want to use, and set a delay on the cast.

Rich (BB code):
Staff of Eternal Eloquence=30

This one for instance will tell it to cast the chanter epic 2.0 and to delay 30(3s) after doing so to give it time to cast.

(more to come later.)

Here is the current file that I have going for into the Hills as a Chanter puller. As stated in the other thread it will build a custom INI file for you. You'll also need to download the hillsinto.ini path file. I'll include that. When you run it the first time it will put variables in mystuff.ini (You can change that file name if you want in the main body of the macro.) Edit your team, your ranks etc.

Next version hopefully I'll have it do ranks for you based on your enchanter. Also working on getting it to move the group from point 1 to 2 to 3 to speed things up.

One note, if you have an older version if you change SpinStun in your mystuff.ini to "Empowered Minion" it will keep this pet buff up for you.

Added newest version below, this one "moves" your group. It's very sloppy at the moment but will clean it up later. Let me know how it works for you.

To get this to run you need to change the following value in your mystuff.ini

From:
deadhills_errand=hillsinto.ini

To:
deadhills_errand=hillsinto2.ini

I read there is a new TLO .RankName or so. With that you can make a macro generic, so whatever you use in an ini ("Rk. I",Rk. II, Rk. III) it will allways call the spell with the Rank the toon does actually posses. I think its mentioned in the MQ2 changelog how to use the new TLO. Have fun.

Anyone interested in a version of the bard puller one that lets you use mercs ? I'm pretty sure I can modify it to work if someone wants it.

Maskoi posted a code snippet that you can plug in to get your bard to melee. I can get it to work on the meaty version, but it freaks out when I add the code to the vegan version. Probably has something to do with my lack of coding skills.

It works on the Into the Hills version I have, but it only melees with one in camp, and sometimes it will try to melee while pulling. I eventually turned it off and let the bard pull 3 at a time and then go get another at 70% health.

/if (${Target.PctHPs}<95) /killthis

That should never attack while pulling :)

what i did was use mq2rez plugin and have it accept rez then it will command macro to start after rez ran for 18 hours straight yesterday

I used /keypress esc to clear my target as my bard would leave at 70 percent but then rubberband back to melee from pulling. That seemed to work well.

Thanks for the work on this. I like it better than the bard version as the bard was too slow to mez.
My SK is only 7.4K AC and 104K HP buffed. Three or four beating on him is touchy. Wiped once yesterday.
Like the way it pulls the toons to new camp except for the last camp. The group ended up on the side of the skull and half my group couldn't see the chanter and she was fighting 3 slimes.

What plugin is needed to process the command "/memspell 1 "${SpellNuke1}" " ??

Same thing happened to me with the hill, I changed path 3 point 6 to
Rich (BB code):
PointX6=1466.14
PointY6=-15.18
and it worked fine for me.

The problem I have is that when my chanter dies, I have to restart the Mac, and the chanter moves the group back to point one. When my chanter tries to do that, they all run into the wall and never get around the corner.

I changed the location in path 3 location 6 to end at the end of the bridge instead of previous setting that put the group halfway in the canyon on the NW side of bridge, but the enchanter is still pulling into the canyon. How do I change the return to camp location to be the new end of path #3?

Change the starting point of Path 4
This will put the chanter behind the tank and he/she will pull right over the top of the tank.

(I do away with all the decimal points and round off my Path Points. Moveutils never stops exactly on the points anyway)

Rich (BB code):
[Path3]
.
.
.
PointX6=1470
PointY6=25

[Path4]
PointX1=1490
PointY1=15

Ok i feel like a noob on this but when chanter starts in Dead Hills he buffs.. then drives himself deep in a wall while going to Path 1 Point 1

Is he/she selecting the right instance? Has to be 'into the hills' that you are in before he'll go on the right path. If he selects one of the other two he'll just hit the wall. And do you have 'hillsinto2.ini' in the same directory as the macro? I need to add a check for that.

what pussyfoot said , and ill add if you have never done any of the other missions you would not be set up to select right one you would need to change around line 193 /notify TaskSelectWnd TSEL_TaskList listselect 3 to 2 or 1

It is in the same directory but he loves his walls. It is selecting right mission and whole group is going.

ok i figured it out for some reason it had the hillsinto..... instead of hillsinto2..... but i see that in the main post now that i fixed it .. crap.

Ok now for problem 2 and 3 now i got that far.
2. Ench just waits and waits does nothing once in i have to restart the macro for him to do anything.
3. when i restart the macro. the others macros do not start do i have to start them before?

Are you using BCCMD so that the other characters are controlled via the /bca command? If not you need to load that plugin. The enchanter will zone in and wait for them to all communicate to him via BC that they are <READY>. Until they do that he won't do anything. (Unless you start the mac inside the zone.) If you start it inside the zone though without BC working, eventually he'll move the camp and no one will follow him. It doesn't work well at all without BC loaded and all the toons connected to your server. If you need help setting that up follow this link: http://www.redguides.com/community/showthread.php/23925-Article-EQBC-Idiot-s-Guide

I have it loaded they zine in just fine. but that is where the whole show stops.

one thing. it says no such character as (insert Merc name here) and that is the last line. and yes i do have my spells loaded

Hrm I'd have to see exactly what's happening next. It sounds like your getting into the SetupCamp routine, but then it's hanging for some reason. It should start buffing after that. Your character does have all 12 spell gems right?

It says that about the merc because it can't tell your merc to run the Mac that zones them in. It's no big deal.

The Mac runs continually on the chanter, but issues a comman to the toons named in the INI to run a Mac that targets gribble and zones them into the instance after the chanter. Then it ends that Mac and issues the command to start whatever Mac you put in the INI file. For most of us that is kissassist. once they complete the mission it ends the Mac on all toons except the chanter. They zone and start again.

What mercs are you using? You can use a tank merc, but it needs to be set up different.

Is there a recommended level for into the hills, say 95+? I know the minimum level says 85 but I'd imagine a group of 85s would have some trouble. I ask this because my box team is all 90 but I assume that's still too low to try this.

Heroics scale to the highest level in your group. How good they scale no idea never tried them at 85.

I cant seem to get the chanter version to work at all , ive loaded all require items and it just sits their and loops spell set changed ect... does nothing

As long as you get a few armor upgrades on the tank ie buy him a full set of Reis Armor or the like then a full group of 85s cream this!

Check your spells and make sure you have the right ranks. the only reason it would loop is if you were trying to mem a spell you don't have or the rank of a spell you don't have. Make sure your chanter has whatever is in mystuff.ini

Pathing is so glitchy and he gets stuck so much , I want a ini to where he runs center of the road and bridge , nothing else anyone have one ?

Strange, my character has never gotten stuck with this version.. ever. I've run LOTS of missions with it. 200k worth of marks of valor.

I need some help , I cant figure out why he will run entire mission but at end wont finish it ? he wont target gribble hail and have the group leave?

Will need a lot more info than this. Are you giving him enough time? Sometimes there is a significant pause before he hails gribble. Patience is a virtue.
