Changing Server/Name

So as of 2006 what is the current way of going about changing yourself to having original control of the account? Do you have to stop the subscription,let it expire and wait a full billing cycle before you can re-subscribe with your CC? I used to only have to let the account expire then use my own CC but I think the guy I bought this account off of subscribed for 3months so I guess maybe I'll need to wait till the end of March? I bought the account in Jan.

First, you can check your subscription length by clicking the "account", then "billing" options on the EQ main menu and following that.

The way you're talking about is long gone Moth. As of now I haven't heard of any way to make yourself the original owner in atleast 6 months.
