Change the Gamma

Is there a way to automate changing my gamma? when my computer monitor goes to sleep and back, EQ goes back to dark mode. If i toggle the gamma from 68 to something and back to 68 its back to how i have it set.

I use wineq2, even the free version has a gamma lock function. With plain eq I don't know of a way to do it.
