Question - Casters (clr/shm/mag) ini help/advice pls :)

Ok, so I'm setting all these up for the first time. the ones I'm the least sure about are the casters. I have a Cleric, Mage, and Shaman that I run, they are all f2p until I can manage to farm up enough plat to get kronos for my group. I have yet to field test any of them (so far just started them to make sure that the auras / buffs and stuff work). I may not have time to field test them today, on top of that I've been gone from the game for quite a while. So if some of the more experienced mq2'ers here as well as some of the less rusty players (hehe) might take a look at them for me and point out any mistakes / offer any advice or changes to make them better that would be great. Ok, so after some trials I have run into 2 errors, the shaman continuously buffs (even when he / group already has them, the ones i noticed most were indomitable spirit, spirit of bih`li, and second life rk2) the cleric also seems to want to cast unified credence on my mage over and over and over.

92 Clerics ini (just edited clr ini due to error starting, not sure how I need to use divine guard at a certain hp so i took it out as well, seems the combination of those 2 changes lets it start up at least)

Not sure why the shaman and cleric inis say 9.1.9, im running 9.2

If you updated the vanilla compile I read that it used Maskoi's 9.1.9 (and would've overwritten your 9/2) since he didn't put it in the new compile. Just go and download the updated KA.mac from the 9.2 thread and replace.

Try changing the cleric buff line you have

Buffs5=Unified Credence|Dual|Blessing of Assurance

To

Buffs5=Unified Credence|Dual|Credence

Should take care of the cleric over buffing the mage instead of looking for the spell focus that the mage might have blocked

I'm not sure about the Shaman stuff (also, you posted the cleric INI twice - its under the Shaman INI. Edit your post and show the Shaman one) but for the cleric it might be because your mage has some other buff on him that's blocking one part of the Credence/Assurance buff and therefore every time the cleric casts Unified Credence it only applies one part of the buff and keeps recasting trying to apply the other part. I don't have a mage and haven't played one in nearly 14 years so maybe check the buffs he has and the spell stacking. I'm not sure if that would even cause an error but its a thought. Another thought is try not using the Dual command for Unified Credence. I'm not at home so can't check right now but my cleric has Unified Hand of Credence (the group version) and I'm pretty sure I don't run it with the Dual tag and it casts just fine.

ok so changed the clerics ini tried both of your suggestions, and there was nothing blocking the second part on the mage (cause when i looked he had both from being buffed earlier) two things i dont get though are 1) i clicked it off on the mage and the mq2 window on the cleric said that the mage needed it because it had worn off... but never casted it on him. I stopped the macro and restarted it just to see, still never casted it on him. 2) what it did do after restarting though, was recast divine invocation on my sk (tank) even though he still had it on.

he finally rebuffed the mage after i clicked credence off on the tank, he fizzled on the first 2 casts on the tank then went through and refreshed (or tried to) it on the whole group. just to check it, i clicked it off another toon, mq2 window said the toon needed it because it wore off, but he hasnt cast it yet. not sure if theres just a long buff delay or whats up
