Ok so our whole server erupted in mayhem when someone announced that flame igniters and Steam Capacitors were dropping off grey cons in Blackfeather Roost. These are for the Mechamatic Guardian Event that gets you the two augs and the flying mount. I investigated and sure enough, some mobs were popping above world and across teh zoneline of BFR. They were also popping from breaking the nests on the second island. It was in effect for who knows how long, but from the time I found out about it, Noon that day until noon the next day a GM had come by and nerfed it.
I was there when there were all kinds of different named grey cons were popping, Farmers of, Minions of prexus etc. forget all the names but every drop you could get in DSH was dropping off them. I went back with my buddies monk and ranger after he re-activated and only flame Igniters were dropping because only Minions of Prexus were spawning.
A few hours later nothing was spawning and today there still isn't anything like there was in that zone. I'm not that upset about it, I got in while it was good and got plenty of caps for the toons I had not gotten them for yet. I also had a guildie with me who got two for him and his bot. It was just silly that I got 3 caps in two weeks of camping MG and then got 3 more in 20 minutes.
I just wish I knew where/if they were popping in other zones, I checked several other hot zones for level 55 because I assumed since BFR was a hot 55 zone I'd check other similar zones. No luck anywhere for the other ranger or monk. In any case, I got the mount for my bst, clr, mnk, mag, other friends ranger, wiz, and my shammy has all the parts but is missing the 80 UD (I don't need it for him it was just for fun if I did get it)
Sorry this news came so late, but I wanted to get the word out and ask if anyone knows about where/if anything is still dropping in any newb zones.
