Problem - Can't seem to get chainpulling to work.

I'm new to KA and just started playing around with it tonight. For some reason, I can't get chain pulling to work at all. It always seems to pull right after the mob that is currently in camp dies.

I do see spam in the mq2chatwindow when the ChainPullHP=90 threshold is met there is considerable spam of:

What role is you SK in. Chain pulling only works in puller mode.
 
Also I was getting that cast radius issue on my SK when I was using both MQ2Nav and MQ2Navigation by accident. I ultimately made a whole new clean folder for MQ2 and moved my toons config files over. Pulling worked better then.

I don't know why you'd want your KS to chain pull... What am I missing? He'd have aggro on the mob (as a tank I assume) and the mob would chase after him as he pulled. Better to use a different toon.

I have the role set to puller mode. Its in the ini file as Role=Puller, as well as, I am starting the macro with "/mac kissassist puller" with my warrior targeted.

My sk is not tanking in this case. My warrior is tanking.


Totally new to KA so probably doing something wrong on my end.
 
Your settings look correct. Ctaylor22 is the expert in chain pulling. He is out of town until Sat.

That should be working, odd that it is not
My first guess is that ReturnToCamp=1 is needed to be a puller


Other note, in older versions I have found odd issues if I had DPSOn=0 that would effect other sections, try to turn that on after testing ReturnToCamp
 
Chain pulling to Kissassist means that the puller goes out for another mob while the tank is finishing off the current mob. So by having your tank chain pull is probably messing something up with the coding, where the SK thinks it needs to go pull, but also finish the current mob. I believe this is a simple logical error.

To correct this, try disabling the chain pull setting, leave the rest alone. Or, set someone else as a chain puller, perhaps some sort of melee dps like a monk bard or ranger. Try either of those and report back.

Yep, I have about 3 mobs on the ignore list, 2 of them quest npcs.

Not sure how that would be related though, as pulling starts up again within 1-2 secs after the mob dies. The problem seems to be related to the ChainPullHP=90, as its not going off to go pull anywhere close to when the HP threshold is met. Even if the check was occuring every 5 secs and the hp threshold fell from 90 to 20% hp of the mob in that time frag, it should start going off to grab another, which isn't happening.

Nope. No holys/downs are even being used.

I had a similar issue when I was trying to chain pull and had a certain mob really close to camp that was on my ignore list. Moved away from it and chain pulling worked again no problem. Might be something to try.

Cool thank you. That makes sense now. How would I change the variable PullFlag to 1 inside the macro file so it chain pulls? When I spam /varset PullFlag 1, it does chain pull. Not sure what line I'd have to change to make it chain pull.

Also, everything in this condition is being met as much as far as I can understand the condition:

3) I'm not the Target.AggroHolder on the Targets Target
