Problem - Can't get KA to work

Since returning I have forgotten everything about the setup process, I've watched some videos but they seem to be dated.
The issue I'm having..

I get on my tank I type /mac kissassist and wait till the beep goes off

I get a message at the bottom saying "No MainAssist target. Please target Main Tank and reset macro. I've tried targeting myself then targeting nothing but I still get the same message.
Also, no kissassist(charactername) shows up in the macro folder.
I'll add that I'm using MQNext.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Your KA INI will be found in your config folder

But to answer your question on your tank use
/mac kissassist tank

Then on your other toons
/mac kissassist tankname

Replace tankname with the name of your tank

Once it runs the first time it will create an ini file. You’ll need to go through it and setup all the spells and abilities you want to use or use a prebuilt ini from the kiss library in the kiss assist section.

You need to set Main Tank and Main Assist in your group.
Then on the tank : /mac kissassist Tank

On the rest of your group: /mac kissassist assist ${Group.MainAssist} 98

you need to either target yourself and type /mac kissassist or provide it a name and role as a parameter like /mac kissassist tank ${Group.MainTank}

In the tank/puller tank ini file you need to place PullerTank as the role. In the ini file. The rest of the toons need to be role=assist. Once the tank is PullerTank he will run off and grab mobs and bring them back to where you started kissassist.
The other toons need to target the pullertank and run kissassist /mac kissassist. You may want the returntocamp=1 on the assisting toons so they stick near camp after fighting. Or you can run or send a command /camphere on to turn on returntocamp after the toons have started kissassist. then /camphere off to be able to move them around so they don't leash back to camp.
