Question - Camp on death

So I woke up this morning and my wizard was sat in the guild lobby, and my bard was at the character select screen. Both corpses had rotted. Now I believed that camp on death would camp out completely. Firstly I wondered, why if the settings are the same for both characters, would they behave differently. And secondly, why to character select and not to desktop so the corpse would be recoverable.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Its Kiss not you.

Is your wizard bound in the same zone that he died? Kiss is coded to camp out f you are in a different zone than the one your are xping in.
We may have to revisit this for wizards using Teleport Bind. That are bound in the same zone.

Character select fix
Find this line3122ish in 9.05

/docommand /camp

change it to

/docommand /camp desktop

No bound in different zones from where the death occurred. They are in a zone that you can't bind in.

how does this camp on death work - if it dies once will it do this, or will it only do this if it is dead and can't get back or gets caught in a death loop?

I fucked up last night and now have 4 104's with gear they can't use... fuuuck

Have you personally had success with /camp desktop? It has never worked for me. It only continues to camp to the character select screen.

thats an eq command the /camp desktop. /exit is just closing the program which might be better till some things are looked at.

I will be rewriting this entire feature later this month when i redo theAFkTools section
