The game is finally viable from a buy the expansion move to ftp ala gw2/eso style.
Tank Gear Comparison
Currently Eok group gear is 30 ac greater, and 400 hp ish lesser than the current raid 1 tbm gear.
It is indeed not prestige.
This is def a bigger increase then the previous 5% caps we have seen each expansion. The current group tank bp offers 631 ac and 4405 hp for a sk, with an ac aug from tbm(Bile).
Type 5
The type 5 augs so far appear to be a net gain of not worth the hassle(+1 all and +2 respectively) if you have stockpiles of rems from tbm. I don't think 1 heroic stat is going to be the end all for anyone. You can however buy a bag from the guys there which is 36 slots and lord knows everyone wants bags.
These new type 5 augs are prestige only.
Augs
Augs are more or less nothing new. What we got in tbm with the non prestige tags plus heroics or cotf ha farm is currently it. This still yields enough to deck out a toon.
Augs from eok are prestige only from t1+. Refer to the link to raz's guide to augs below to gather ftp augs.
Purity
Still very limited towards prestige, can still pick a couple up via random things, aka
Priceless Diamond of Ethernere from cotf things if you want to be the hero everyone knows you are.
Eok Offers a removable 30 and 35 purity aug with solvents, this is huge.
Limitations
The big limitations are still going to be rank 2 spells, which obviously can be thrown off as meh or purchased with some station cash. I still dont have much info on this portion for anyone to be of any use. I saw maybe 2 spells of which I didnt care about.
Ancients
Ancient farms are awesome kill quests in fm. Kill 50 bears spawn a named, turn in for items. Those items are considered group 2 loot and wont be anything but prestige.
AA
The increase of aa's IS VERY VERY steep. To rock a viable toon you want to grind another 8K+ aa's if you have kronos to burn or wanted to invest in a month of game time on a group to max them out.
