54, all 115. We beat TOV like one month ago. Though Mearatas is known as hardest raid in the past 10 years, it’s still a roadblock to us till TONITE!!
Woot, words just could not describe how exciting when we put UEE into dust! Especially when his hp came to 0% the noise we made could rip off the ceiling of the building!!
Yes we did sir ! /saluteWait a second, there's 6 if yall who box full raids and have beat current content? I'm super jealous lol

That's fucking amazing! Awesome job!Yes we did sir ! /salute![]()
Massive Kudos on that. Wow, something is only impossible until someone does it. Far out Brussel Sprout!
So,
1) in general each person is boxing 6 with a couple of you are boxing 12 characters ?
2) hidden in there is a second gem - All ToV is down. Is ToFS1 not similarly problematic?
3) do you use a lot of custom scripting? I’ve seen you post some .inc for inclusion into Kiss for emote compliance. We use MQ2Events also, and are pondering a shared EQBC server, but otherwise VV and Chat’s class plugins for us.
We box raids with 7-8 people, are currently stumped by Velks and beginning to work through the Avatar mechanics (after downing Vindi a couple of weeks ago). Haven’t even requested ToFS ...

hmm ... if that is indeed the case ... it'd be a case of 'ConfigurationQuest' or 'EverCode' i suspect. And a crapton of background work ... this might be the tip, but man, there is a lot of iceberg underneath. However good MQ2 and the resources here are, there are situations that are VERY difficult to account for, much less be 1 - 2 tick timely. Challenges we've encountered includeThere's folks on FV doing 54-box raids to sell loot/nuggets/currency =p
Or, if it's not 1 54-box player, then it's like 2 or 3 players tops, to split out that load. MQ2 is absolutely crazy, and I'm unsure EQ would have survived without it.
I normally box 14-22 when others box 6-8. Since I invented my scripts and I taught my crew how to use it and dig the full potential of it, I tend to box every core classes so I can debug them.
So in other words, I used to box 44-48 back to ROS era when my fellas learning it, and we’ve been doing this from 2 years ago. Our style and macro has developed/involved and adjusted a lot during events.
Yes, beat any current raids will need custom scripts and events though you have multiple ways to do it. None of us has alts in other Top end guilds so strategy sometimes will be a problem. (freelance’s progress was too slow to use, I basically dig those from videos/forums and our attempts logs- shout out to several users here for their sharing!)
And then you will need adjust your automatic system for events. I dunno if Kiss could do the job since we don’t use it but I do use Chat’s zerk plugin (manual mod with all other controlled by my macro, I’ve bugged Chat a lot for adding some “weird” toggles lol). Anyway, I do have a massive events .inc file for any events from TBM, and also some subs you will need to check every pulse since some wiping mechanism is so strong, you need maximize your robust on it and still guarantee your toons’ reaction speed.
Another problem would be debugging. It’s painful to debugging your macros for raids. A full wipe takes around 20mins to recovery, and you will need to push the progress to a certain point to see the mechanism to test your scripting corresponding right or not.
And back to the specific raids, TOFS1 is arguably the hardest in TOV ( Tofs 2 and VL also hard for boxing). You prolly need a plugin from Dewey to help you ice sliding. VL will be a lot easier if you have strong range dps ( unlike us, we boxing a very melee heavy dps roster so I have to invent a range mode for most of our melee dps), since your melee dps will struggle on survival due the massive ae rampage. Well, Tofs 2 was a nightmare to code since the “Choose Side” buff didn’t have any emotes when it fades.
To be honestly, we’ve considered to xfer to FV. The advantages is pretty obvious, we can allocate all the resources easily and beef-up our tanks quicker. We built our roster from ROS group gear around 2-3 elite tanks, and even now we still have a lots toons wearing several slots with TOV group gears since our TOV farming was not long! ( we almost right get back to Mearatas after we beat TOV, desire to conquer that mofo is what driving us!) But we choose to stay since we lazy to move
I would say POF and GD is easiest in TBL and TOV respectively for those concerns. Now say hello to TOV fully farming season! (maybe will finish those challenge achievements in TBL, only FF/Empyr 1/Esianti left iirc).![]()
... don’t hail the dude ... just burn, burn, burn.Out of curiosity, how come that be possible?for ToFS #2, just ignore the mechanism for taking sides... don’t hail the dude ... just burn, burn, burn.
Nosja already gives our tank chain a pain in the ass since not everyone in the crew is experienced real people tank plus that will spawn A LOT of dancers? (Though they hit like a joke but still drag people out of combat thus waste of dps).Out of curiosity, how come that be possible?Nosja already gives our tank chain a pain in the ass since not everyone in the crew is experienced real people tank plus that will spawn A LOT of dancers? And if bad RNG happens, the bride/groom still need the other one dropped to 25% otherwise hp locked. I could not think ignore the hail mechanism will lead to victory.
With all that being said, we burn from the start to the end for sure. Our dps can reach 20-25Mil under 120s and sustained 10-15Mil depends on the event. (80% of ROI? from the video parse their member posted).
The differences is I wrote a kinda “perfect” sub for people auto picking side to avoid DT by the adds and still able to maintain dps the correct mobs, and when the debuff fade then back to normal mode (assist ma to spank) etc.

also thanks @jimbob 's afnuke for our casters. It is not just for wiz!
This is an amazing feat!
Truly inspiring.
If I was to start slowly learning to raid by myself, for example with 3-4 groups of 115, 30k AA, ToV group gear, would EoK T1 raids be a realistic option for learning, or would I have to go further back? (I have raided those normally). (I realize EoK progression would be a time sink... so more realistically I would spend a year preparing, and then go for RoS T1 when new expansion(s) have dropped).
where is the plugin that you use to not slide on ice only one i can find doesnt work on RG
well I spoke with dewey today, and gonna get with redbot and hopefully get his mq2ice added (mq2ice is a non-active hack that just toggles run/walk/nav/moveutil and does keypresses to help you stop sliding)There isn't one on RG.

well - we have a list of what we have in VV lol - much easier to say what we have, rather than what we don't have as there are plenty of plugins that are either exclusive to one person/place or another - or are just private. Is there a list of available plugins that are not in VV by default?
