Hey guys,

In an effort to adjust toons to my raid and have been combing through lots of post for different armor slots including belts in question.

Does anyone already have a breakdown per-class for which each should have? I want to add this to my excel so i dont forget and its because im old lol.

Thanks

Hehe, would raidloot help? I use it all the time to look up stuff for each slot and where to get/how to make

ToL/NoS has greatly simplified the belt slot options down into just Adroit (Overdrive Punch) for weapon users, Bril (Treaded Boon of Potential) for casters, and Vigor (Crippling Slicer) for tanks, combining both of the ToV/CoV foci for each (offensive/defensive casting, proc/melee skill damage, and defensive proc snare/slow) into one.

(Boon of Potential) = "In question" for Rangers, Bards, Beastlords, Paladins/SK (for DPS)**

(Overdrive Punch) = "In question" for Rangers, Bards, Beastlords, Paladins/SK( for DPS )**

(Crippling Snare) = 25% Slow for tanks "Check"

idk why hybrid classes are tripping me up. I remember running my raid ranger with Boon instead of overdrive since it was better for DPS

Of that, the only ones running Brilliance on live currently are Rangers (and like 2 shadowknights), largely for the same reason they run full sympathetic procs and type 17/18 caster procs.

Well just tried the a bard with both Boon and overdrive. Insults and bellow is a no go for either of these effects. I know overdrive is more for weapon procs but it does have the other effect.

I really thought the boon gave insults for bards too. Guess ill keep playing with them and see. Was hoping someone had a parse list already hehe

Going back a few years, its been noted the spell damage line doesnt like playing nice with bard songs. Though, to be fair, most things dont like playing nice with bard songs.

I know several fellows that swear by the following,
Tanks - Crippling
MELEE DPS (monk/rog/serk/war?) - Overdrive
Casters including hybrids - Boon
Effectively that means that many classes are going for 2 belts and swapping situationally...

I tend to go by the following
Tanks - Crippling
Melee DPS that isnt a tank and Bards - Overdrive Punch
Casters that are not a tank - Boon

Clearly massive upgrades win out over effect on close calls for me so a current raid Overdrive Punch will win out over a TBL/TOV raid boon on a ranger.

Threaded boon of potential is a great option for SKs

All of those belt effects suck and they haven't scaled with each new expansion, which means they're even less useful today compared to when they came out.
