Problem - Bard spontaneously killing himself if he crits DoT after combat

if you're doing anything to target yourself, and you're twisting, you will dot yourself

this is why i never used dots on my bard inis

Aye, also, if you happen to click a blank spot anywhere in the extended target window, it will target yourself.... that's the #1 cause of my bard committing Harakiri

Happens to me as well, once a while. Usually if I interfere sowmhow during fight, maybe trying to position better. Rezz and continue

OUCH... hahahaha. ya that sounds as fun as punching yourself in the dick. ( possibly add a retarget thing before your dots start their sequencing?... if thats even possible )

Upon further "debugging" it looks like this happened when he was trying to rebuff himself with rapier of somber notes. Confirmed rebooting KA with no target - he will target himself before casting it again. I edited KA's INI to "|MA" this and he recasted it on the MA instead. Hopefully that will prevent some future deaths. (I've actually got nothing in his buffs section that targets himself now except his familiar and aura) Not willing to throw my Bard's DoTs out the window too much dps for him.

The last couple revisions of KISS, I have made a few mods to try and get bards to switch back to their original target when in the DPS/Melee routines, due to MeleeTwistWhat. Kiss hands off the control of MeleeTwistWhat to the MQ2Twist routine, and then continues doing it's thing. KISS will pause twist to cast other stuff, but then releases twist to continue, so if your the last target when twist starts up and the next spell in the MeleeTwistWhat is a debuff, then your target(YOU) gets hit.

Thanks for the explanation! I was trying to read through the kissassist mac but it's very lengthy and I couldn't quite figure out what was happening

Im not a programmer, just a gammer. Im Using kissassist and self INI.
I die too sometines i will try to explain HOW i die:

When Bard not set as puller and not set as ma (only assisting). Theres a warrior in group thats marked as MA and puller. if bard died, after rezz or call and and while mana and endurance are low, my (tank-ma-puller) are targeting bard ( to know when he can start pull again), thats reason bard (as assisting puller-ma) is targeting herself and DOT-DD song kills him, when a mob comes near camp
Thats happends me till bard is full mana-endurance again.

Sorry bad english, and sorry if im wrong, just is my opinion, trying to help.
Solution: dont start pulls till bard full mana-end

Bard rocks hehe!!!
