Problem - Bard running too close before casting = dies

Hi all,

My Bard in Seb is running up very close to mobs before casting her ranged pull spell. I get hit & stunned before I cast often = die

How can I tell Kissassit to cast at a distance?

Loving this new aspect of EQ so thanks for any replies

see if that helps, that is 95% of t he range of the sonic displacement skill

but what is mostly happening i think, is a line of sight issue where kiss makes you move till you got los, and at that point you allready within aggro range of the mob, and then you will sty try to hit it,m instead of starting to run back instantly.
 
Yeah sounds like LoS. KA doesn't have a setting to peak around corners at max range like a real puller might. I use PullerTank in tight dungeons or caves.

There was also a pull bug where your puller would try to cast their pull spell, even if the mobs had already proximity aggro'd. I know eqmule's KA mod fixed that, but I can't remember if 10.2.6 or 11 have the bug still or not.
 
I think you are right as I have Selo's going so I run in fast and literally run into the mob (who is in a small room behind a door)

Might try to slow down... thx for the feedback
