As the grandfather of circle dot kiting, I have to say I prefer melee'ing it out with KISSAssist.

Necro thread revival... Is the linked guide above still current? Also, can it have a rogue merc twatting away at mobs whilst I run around in circles... Do I produce enough hate?

Lol, not many folks do this anymore since its very inefficient. Yes, you can do the rogue at like 50% life, but one good backstab and you're going to get hate.
