so this has happened to me a few times when ive gated to pok, or the guild lobby. ive entered the zone in mode 1 and tried to get my squad to follow only to have them immediately run back to the point of origin. in a zone full of watching players.

i dont know how difficult it would be to code, but i feel like it would be very beneficial if the plugin would automatically revert to mode 0 on entrance to pok, or the guild lobby to stop this highly suspicious looking behaviour.

I have had this happen before as well. I tried to address it with a "zoned.cfg" file but the problem with that method is that anytime one toon zones it will command the others to go Mode 0 and that can be bad if they are active.

You can try with a specific zone name config file. Like poknowledge.cfg. Not sure if it s the exact name

should change your dudes to not assist mode if you don't want them in assist mode. sometimes zoning i want my dudes to continue to chase me - having them not chase me would not be ideal, because i didn't tell them not to chase me.

would be easy to add something to your hotkey/social to make them go in a non camp mode when you gate them around.

the only mode changing we do with something like this is to go from a puller mode to their respective non puller mode - puller assist to assist, pullertank/huntertank to tank to prevent you automatically trying to pull going to a new zone

I don't know if this suggestion will be welcome given that much more knowledgeable people have already replied.

I use specific config files for the two mentioned zones (POK/GL) with the following in it to turn the listed classes to manual mode upon entering the zones:
INI:
/if (${Select[${Me.Class.ShortName},WAR,BER,BST,CLR,SHD,SHM,ROG,MNK,ENC]}) /${Me.Class.ShortName} mode 0

I have attached the files in case it is of interest to anyone.

They would go in the configs folder in your release folder then you would need to reload MQ2 from the taskbar.

nah dude, this is a great suggestion!

Not exactly the same problem, but I have a similar issue with both Kiss and CWTN when porting / evac'ing. Every so often I'll have an oh crap moment and hit the panic button. Just to have each toon immediately start running back to camp after reaching safety. Or if in chase mode, and the dreaded 'portal collapses' happens, there can be all kinds of mayhem (especially if the MA gets left behind).

Happens most in zones where the succor location is within return-to-camp range, and I am not sure CWTN plugins have a 'return to camp' range limit. The 'left behind' happens anywhere.

Doesn't happen often, but I am thinking of setting up a react to pause everyone when port/succor goes off.

you should turn characters to a non-camp/chase mode if you are going to be doing something you don't want them to try and go to camp or chase.

Just add it to your evac button or whatnot - as mentioned earlier in the thread

I have two hotkeys. I don't leave the camp without turning camp off. :) I will even add camp off to any follow hotkeys or come to me hotkeys. whatever.
You learn after a few time of running your toons into harms way only to have them take a train back to camp. Atleast you didn't get any aggro in the guild lobby. haha.

/bcaa //camp off

and

/bcaa //camp on

Fantastic! Thank you!

Did the same, just changed to another command. That's so nice :)
My toons no longer waste their DD pots in lobby when they rebuff while waiting for a rez :P

Is it just me or when you zone into guild hall on chase mode if you move with out taking them out of chase or removing the assist tag my group likes to port them self's to the guild village... Its super fun to manually move them all away from guild hall zone in and then put them back in chase mode.

My rogues do the exact same thing all the way across WW, from NW corner to succorpoint, SE corner. They are run in the background and half my toons aren't using mq at all so sending a stop command from a different computer(evacer) to the rogues would require running software for no other reason than to tell them not to Target something they shouldn't have targeted after MA dies and they zoned. The rogues are set just to assist MA, and are manual mode in mq2rogue, clearing the target when zoning SHOULD stop them from reacquiring the target they had before, but it doesn't. They're not on a chase mode or a camp mode at all, just assist, and if I(MA) die, that's when I hit evac if mobs already being killed(not if it's from a dot on pull) but they won't clear the target until I switch over and stop them, and they're absolutely nowhere near where we evacd from.

I suppose some sort of holyshit or downshit(don't usem so idk which is which) where when druid casts her evac they should /end, or clear target but idk how to do the cleartarget part. That wouldn't require eqbc or dannet. In my case, I run KA just to set them to assist me as I don't like/run nav and meshes thus cwtn stays in manual mode, so there is an opening to add such an event.

this is mq2nav clicking the door.

if you are still in any mode that makes them move (like chase), or call them with a nav, or afollow - they will click on that door.
