Not sure how you update from launcher. I DO know this one (mine) is not included with Kiss. Have you tried d/l from this page and manually changing your INI? I am not having any problems with the spamming.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant manually change your auto_WAR.mac. Need... more... coffee...
