A command you can issue? Yes = /autoinvent
If your looking for a plugin = MQ2Cursor.

that isnt automatic. i have to make a hotkey and hit it everytime for the item to go in my inventory.

as @BrianGragg said the plugin MQ2cursor snatches it off and puts it in the first inventory slot that matches type.... sometimes too aggressively lol... mq2autoforage also does it, quite aggressively..
