There is a EXE file in the source code of MQ2 that you download. Named MQ2Auth.exe. When you run this file it creates another file called MQ2Auth0.h insided the MQ2Main folder. What this does i limit MQ2 to run on only that computer. Stops it from being more widely used than it is now. So what they need is the 2 lines that come from the MQ2Auth0.h , so that they can add it to there list. so when they compile. you can use that compile. The code comes from the Name entered on installing windows. and the product ID created during the install of windows also. there is no personal info taken, it just used the name/id to create the code.

If you are interested in compiling for others, it is pretty easy to add their auth. codes. Simply have them run MQ2Auth.exe and give you the 2 lines from MQ2Auth0.h. Then all you have to do is add those two lines to your MQ2Auth0.h, and recompile. Once that is done, presto, it works on both computers. In short that is how siddin and such do it, just by adding the auth codes of other people to their file before recompiling.
Sorry did not understand the question i guess. yes you would just need who ever you are compileing for , there auth codes. you then would add it to your list (MQ2Auth0.h file) and recompile. and you can send them your release folder and they should be able to run it on there computer. if everything was done right. If your using the newest release 5/26 you will need to recomplie all of the plugins you may have also. or they will not load.
and "they" are who ever does the compileing. siddin and redguides admin add it to there list but editing there post. if you wish to add yours/friends to the list just post auth codes and they will update there auth file and compile it for you.
