Question - Any update on Quarm support?

Launch is next week (13th), has there been a decision on support for the Quarm server?

Considering the competitive nature of the server, we don't think we'll be releasing anything that could give players an advantage.

We're considering something that could make playing a bit nicer, or more configurable, but not advantageous. I'll make some noise when a few things get ironed out - sorry that I can only hint.

Maybe full release only once OMM has been beaten for the first time? I'd totally support a decision like that

The unique title for being the 'first' raid to kill OMM is literally the only thing thats competitive about the server, the actual rewards which are doable via both raids or group trials are really a 'go at your own pace' sort of deal, practically a handout with 3 months to only complete group trials lol.

I really like that redguides has been supportive of things like phinny etc and trying to honor the spirit of special servers as of late!

as I understand it, a lot of the scripting will be disabled. I would guess that no , holy/downshits wouldn't work with out scripting support.

It's most like pretty useless since the /if command is removed in that build, but I'm not sure, still waiting for people to report back what can and what cannot be done, I know people on the EQ forums cry about how uber it is and you can "just click attack" and it goes to town for you, but then they post videos of full blown mq2 doing it when it's a totally different thing in the TRUEBOX version..,

Mages (specially at level 70) are so easy to box, you just stack your keyboards and hit the hotkey on every keyboard.
