Question - any tips for using KA cleric outside of group

as the title states, i'd like to use my cleric out of group. i'm a recent convert to KA, so i'm still a novice. cle does very well in group, but outside his performance hasn't been as inspiring. i've experimented with XTarHeal=1 and it functions, but not as smoothly. i understand that performance will likely drop out of the group, but i'm curious if anyone has any tips to make it as effective as possible. thanks!

Have your 2 toons you want healed on Xtar as you mentioned. You will need to cast something on 1 of them at the start of any damage done to get the mobs on xtar and he will do much better. Without a mob on xtar, KA doesn't know your Melee is in combat.

I do this with my enchanter to mez outside of group.

If you are using KISS, then put your warrior in your dps group. Have one or a couple toons assist warrior while he is in group and run your macros, then disband the warrior from the group.

Any zoning and you will have to reset this. Try it and verify if it works.

This is the only way I can get my enchanter using KISS to assist outside of group.

Ignore that. That was for another post but I will leave it here, but give that a try. Put your cleric in the group first, then run KISS and disband your cleric. Don't see why it wouldn't work with a cleric.

Anyway you can use Autocleric to assist outside of group all day long. Use autocleric for clerics and KISS for the rest.

The only problem with using AutoC like this is that the cleric will ONLY heal the target he is assisting and not other members of the group, but the cleric will heal your target like a boss.

Any particular reason you are not using AutoC? It is probably one of the best macros out there.
