Well i'm not very good at coding (guess i need to sit down and just relearn it) but i wanted to contribute something here so I thought'd id put down my little favorite bugs of EQ i know of.
1.) Treasure Chests.
This is kinda ironic bug that sony overlooked. The Chests that spawn after an event/raid completion in OoW/DoN can be opened/looted by ANYONE outside the raid that beat the event. Why? because chests are considered mobs to the server, and the first person to /target /open gets the credit for the kill and can loot whatever is in it.
2.) Recharge any item in game.
This is one of my favorite bugs that i had a hard time parting with but its very useful. You HAVE to be able to spawn the Ikkinz 4 "Antechamber of destruction" raid to do this trick. At the entrance to Ikkinz 4 (once your actually zoned in to the expedition) there is a "Stalwart Caretaker" guarding the doors. Give your charged item to the Stalward Caretaker (i mean anything, shrinkers, illusion pots, gate pots, SoFRS!!!(rez sticks for those who dont know)) anything, and he will give it back fully charged. There wont be any "I have no need of this <name>" message either, he just gives it back fully charged.
3.) Permanent Warddrobe/weapons graphics
Posted this one awhile ago, but thought i'd do it again. if your a plate class you can have a permanent robe graphic while still wearing your breastplate by simply putting on the robe, changing into any illusion other then the standard races (i.e change into a skeleton or wolf or bear, etc) put your breastplate back on, then click off the illusion, the server will have you with the last known graphic configuration (the robe) but you will still be wearing your breastplate, this works until you zone. You can also do this vice versa for casters that want to walk around in a plate graphic (if there are any all/all breatplates) this also works with weapons, equip a 2 hander, change into a wolf/bear, put in your 1hander + shield, click off illusion, you'll still be weilding your 1hander/shield combo but look like your using a 2 hander.
If i think of anymore i'll post em later, i'm worn out from work today.
