Would KA work well to automate an AE fight? Where I'd control the pull manually but where KA would automate the AE fight using the standard chanter, wizard, cleric setup?

Is there any tips for setting up the ini's? Or any tips on crew setup?

This would be for use on a TLP.

When using AE's there is no mezzing, AE DPS will hit every mob in range. Now if you don't care about crowd control, then yes you can setup kiss to AE the heck out of everything..
 
Another TLPer here.

I wouldn't use KA for this I've tried but it's very hard. Maybe you could use it for the wizzy AoE's but to be honest the only thing I use Kiss for when AoEing (Seb, Velks, The Hole etc) is maybe for cleric healing.

First is the enchanter. One enchanter has 3 main stuns to use (the first one you get is crap with a 2 second duration). If you spam them all in quick succession you'll be left on cool down when stuns wear off. = everyone dead. So if you only have one enchanter you have to time it carefully.

This isn't kiss related but might help you. I use ISBoxer and have the following main setup for the CC and DPS. 2 Enchanters 4 Wizzys. I also have a ton of other toons assisting like bards doing the AE MR debuff to help stuns land etc etc.

Enchanters.
Setup a target action group within ISBoxer for both chanters.
Make a hot key that maps a keyboard key to press hotbar button 1. Mine is as simple as G12 on my keyboard fires off "1" on both my enchanters.
Create a hotkey which looks like the below and put it in hotbar 1.

The second chanter just add a or something in at the start to offset the stuns.

Same thing for the wizzys.

So now after I've pulled I just have to spam G12, G13, G12, G13...

With regards to crew setup. Most important I'd say are two enchanters. It's ok to do with 1.. but you have to be very careful and concentrate on the times you fire off each spell also if you get any resists you're playing on thin ice..

Chanters - Crowd Control. - Enough of these and you can go light on the clerics.
Wizzys - DPS. Don't bother with the Magic AoE it's more mana/dmg. Also don't use Winds of Gield.. same thing.
Bards - at 59 they get an AoE DoT which also debuffs MR. This is handy to have stuns land.
Puller - SK or Pally wins for this, invun and heals/FD.
Cleric - Mostly used to heal the puller or chanter on the initial pull while everythign is getting locked down.

Base setup. Cleric, Enchanter, Enchanter, Wizzy, Wizzy, Wizzy, SK/War/Pal for pulling.

I have got it down so I can now pull in Seb, D1, D2, Everything to ZI, ZO, Crypt, Chef, Jail.. basically the whole top floor of Seb in 1 pull with a 2nd pull to clear up those that leashed because of that awful agro patch thing they put in.
