Addignore issue

How would I know?
so the addignore slash command is a kissassist macro command.

to use it it would be while kissassist is running - you would have started kiss with a /mac kissassist

since there's some confusion why don't we back up a second.

can you explain what you're trying to achieve?

I just want to ignore mobs I'm pulling.

everything is running
is the character you are using running kissassist? the macro kissassist? if no then the addignore command is not correct.

what is your puller running for automation?

I see you have mq2eskay - are you using mq2eskay?

if so you should familiarize yourself with the resources for those utilities

/shd ignore is the command you want (i explain this in the mq2eskay video)

Nope. I'm using regular Kissassist to try and ignore with my ranger. I've just been confused on what command to use outside of a purchased plugin.

easy and no worries at all

for kissassist you want to do a /addignore ${Target.CleanName} while targeting the mob
you can find information on addignore in the kissassist info and settings guide > here <

lmao!!!............ Um.... hence the subject line of my veryfirst post................. that Exact same command......................... It no workie and I've done every update known to man for this program......... and this computer.......... I'm stumped lol

I say this totally lighthearted I hope you know........... I'd just like to help figure it out. I'd love to be able to make my own Ranger Plugin to hand over to ya someday maybe.

are you running kissassist on the character trying to issue the command? because it has to be running for that to work.

and did you take a look at the link i shared with you?

/addignoreKissAssist_InfoAdds [text] to the MobsToIgnore list - accepts partial names and checks against ${Spawn} ++
Syntax: /addignore "Mob Name" - Adds Mob Name to the ignore list. Double Quotes are required when passing mob names
the addignore adds mobs to your KissAssist_Info.ini in your macro folder.

Yes on both accounts........... I've been working on getting my mage to work again...... he just stopped.

I haven't made any modifications........ I've just been trying to load up everything fresh on a brand new computer and thinks are getting all cattywonky lol

Check and make sure you don't have an alias in your MQ2 ini file. Other/older versions of the macro will create aliases that can mess with kissassist.
You can also edit the kissassist_info.ini file to see if the mobs are getting added to the ignore list.

I can't get my pally on PullerTank mode to ignore a Bloodmoon exile , popped it into the ini, type in the usual /addignore etc... nada working, insists on running to it, and I have to reset Kissassist to get him to go. Oh if only we had a Paladin Plugin... I'll take a bard one too LOL.

Yes. Added it manually in there as well didn't help.
Double check to make sure there are no spaces near the commas separating the names.

Instead of this:
MobsToIgnore=Mob Name1, Mob Name2, Mob Name3

Make sure it's:
MobsToIgnore=Mob Name1,Mob Name2,Mob Name3

Perhaps you're already set up properly with this, I just remember once manually adding names and this prevented things from working correctly for me. Figured it was worth suggesting just in case. Hope you're able to get things worked out either way, wishing you the best of luck! 👾

I switched to my MQ2Rogue to pull, works fine to ignore. Just for some reason Kissassist won't ignore that mob.

By Default KA uses exact matching of names to ignore, So you have to make sure you have the Spawn Filter Exact Name that the Spawn Search Routine will use. There is NO Spawn TLO Member that will return this value. So If you target the mob and then use the /echo ${Target.Name} and if the name has a # in the name, then you have to go into the ini file and add the # to the name.
