Question - Add Rogue or Second Beserker?

My group is currently Druid (my old main I can't abandon), Warrior, Shaman, Beserker (new), merc cleric, merc melee

The merc melee was doing ok but doesn't seem to be pulling his weight at all in CoV so thinking I might have to add another real toon as soon as I can rearrange my computer setup to support a 5th instance (its a weird setup). I am loving the new Beserker I added. I only got Zlandicar down to 30% but I only tried twice and I got a bunch of AA/tank gear since then and there is a bunch more I can do to improve the encounter (maybe next weekend). But I think adding another DPS will help a lot with CoV. I am only 2 months back into the game after a couple years off so still gearing the toons up (focusing on warrior as its all about what i can tank really). Anyway the question is will I be better off with a second Beserker or a Rogue for DPS keeping in mind I don't really know much about either and will probably be relying on cwtn plugins to play them. I know my druid and warrior decently well, will learn the other classes more as I go. I want to do Rogue just for the experience of working with another class but I don't want to sacrifice much dps or any added benefits of having two beserkers. Assume cwtn plugin, 115 max AA medium/low group gear because I kinda suck.

I would go with another zerk OR bard. I see you went with the rare priest trifecta, which must be great for healing. Not so good for deeps though

Rogue sneak and hide is a great utility, the dps is pretty good too. I have three of them, I can set up a campfire anywhere.

Yeah I know its a weird group. I would be lost without the ports, I've played that druid since 2000 and porting around is just inherent to my game play. The druid is usually DPS [such as it is, but can hit 300k on burns]. The shaman usually is healing and debuffing, the cleric merc is sitting on his hands as far as I can tell. I still need to block cleric spells as I understand that will help improve merc's responsiveness. Shaman is still catching up on AAs too.

A bard sounds really interesting but I am already venturing out of my comfort zone, a bard is way out there for me to use effectively.

I’ll throw in my vote for rogue. I like some variety on my team. Plus rogue is handy for scouting stuff out and grabbing corpses when things go south. Can also use to get location updates in quests without having to clear to them in some cases. Solid dps, close enough to zerk to make them worthwhile when you consider all their utility.

Rogue it is! Oh wait I hope they can be Vah Shir, I mostly have cat group going on... /meow, they totally need Vah Shir druids.

I'd say bard AND one of the above..rogue due to what others said would be useful. There's no reason your shm and Dru can't heal without the Merc. Bard gonna be very helpful.

I run a similarly oddball group, and some days I wish I'd gone zerker because rogues ARE being a lot tougher to get up to speed, they have come in useful many times already. One of each would've been ideal but double the setup. Bards..are awesome and cake to get going, and will make everyone else function better. And the rgmercs works great for bard so far. I keep meaning to try it on dru and even rogues(they have cwtn), but haven't yet.

Bard would be my suggestion as well, they add so much to a group and can deal some nice dps on their own with Dots, bellows, synergy. Plus fade.

Rogue has been added. He is doing about half the DPS of the zerker (but more than the merc he is replacing) but has 3 expansions worth of AA to get so I expect the DPS to climb as those AA rack up. Fetching my dead puller has been real nice. I think my setup is maxed out so will look at replacing the cleric merc when I separate my gaming gear from work. Bard is real tempting. Can the KISS macros handle mezzing with the bard and such? I assume so, just never looked.

Update: Rogue has almost caught up to the berserker DPS as his AA's rack up. They are both low on augs tho as the tank is hogging all the drops.

My bard keeps like 12 wolves mez locked down during restless assault hunter wave. Bard’s mez very well using kiss.

Fantastic to hear. My rogue is now pretty close to berserker, on trash they kinda alternate probably depending on what abilities are up for any given fight. Berserker seems to burn faster but the rogue catches up over course of the fight (still more AA to get on rogue). I added a Bard a few days ago but haven't had him do much, getting him from 110 to 115 now.

I was using MQ2grind this morning and my puller pulled 7 115 wurms. I use CWTN plugins and I was watchin DPSadv and saw the both of my Zerks went crazy DPS. Both over 1mill. That was the first time I had seen both do that. My group make up is SK(115)/SHM(115)/ Zerk(115)/Bard(112)/Zerk(111)and BST(111). I was very impressed. The shaman kept me(SK) alive and the Zerks literally went to town.

I just added a bard and WOW. Can't wait until he is leveled and geared up. But even at 112 with T1 ToV/conflagrant gear he is making the zerker and rogue scream on burns. And my druid is having much less problems with mana. Bards make everyone look good.

make sure to get his epic 2.0 and add a line into ini to use his BP. Full burn on named there are like 9 things my bard shoots off and teh dps on bst/2x zerk is insane

Almost done gearing up in T3 CoV. Then I get to do a bunch of epics. I hear I should do zerker, and now bard. Should the rogue one be done as well? Shaman already has his, druid's is useless. Warrior I have never heard was useful at this point either?

Zerker, cleric, bard, rogue and necro? i think are the currently useful ones.

I'd go berserk

Holy Guacamole! Was finally able to get my bard into the Zlandicar mission at level 113. DPS for the group burn must have nearly doubled. Rogue soundly beat the berserker on DPS (neither have epic, berserker has better augs and gear and max AA, though rogue now has max offensive AA). Group is now WAR/DRU/SHM/BER/ROG/BRD
