So as everyone has their own opinions, id like to see what people really think around here, what's your ultimate group combo? I have had VERY good luck with.
Tank: Warrior --- Healer: Cleric --- CC: Bard ---- DPS:Zerk/Wiz/ --- Slower/back up heal: Shaman

I have seen multiple people run a good chunk of different toons and id like to know how do people do with groups like...
Cleric/Chanter or Bard/mage/mage/mage/mage
Cleric/Chanter or Bard/Zerk/Zerk/Zerk/Bst
Cleric/Chanter or Bard/Wiz/Wiz/Wiz/Wiz(I can imagine this is PURE DESTRUCTION WITH AFnuke... :P)
Cleric/Chanter or Bard/Zerk/Wiz/Mage/Bst??

Anyone else have any other group combos that are like the shit? don't worry about if its a group that if you run up to it its obviously of MQ... instances are my friend lol I wanna just do something different then my basic of different toons, your comments below are very welcomed and appreciated :)!!

Best group depends on your budget and what you plan to do. Some lineups are great for an explosive DPS burst every 30 minutes, but fall behind on a 10 hour exp/rares grind. Heavy melee setups will often do better if you are all-access because of prestige weapons/gear and augments.

The most common recommended groups I've seen on the forums are:
  • FTP - SK/CLR/CC +WIZ/WIZ/WIZ - Wizards do decent damage as free-to-play.
  • FTP - SK/CLR/Bard + BST/WIZ/WIZ - This setup keeps your wizards from needing many med breaks and the pet can hold a mob during battle rez.
  • Gold - SK/SHM/Bard + BER/BER/BER - When in doubt, add more berserkers. Even with the most recent nerf, they still do amazing damage. Swap out cleric for shaman melee buffs + Lion.

Pet groups can work for just grinding, but on tougher content you give up the full range of defensive disc/aa options that a real tank brings.
