Problem - Hunter mode does not use MQ2Nav

I am trying to use Hunter mode on my rogue to farm within a certain radius and when all mobs in that radius are dead, return to camp, rinse and repeat.

This appears to be, more or less, how that mode functions, but reading the code I see that MQ2Nav is intentionally disabled for that mode which makes me a very sad panda.

I'm trying to hack it into place but my first attempts just cause it to call the Stuck code over and over after a while - appears to be something to do with the PullCount. (I haven't dug deep yet)

What is the reasoning behind not utilizing MQ2Nav in Hunter mode?

It was way to much trouble at the time. Hunter mode was always based on LOS and to use hunter mode with NAV would require a mesh of the zone...

Doesn't using NAV require a mesh anyway?

One of the things I was hoping for in coming back to mq2/eq was doing exactly this, being able to use hunter along a path using the new/fixed MQ2NAV.

There is a lake with perfect mobs but the lake is too big to use traditional pull methods. Putting the group on chase and having the MT/Puller use Hunter Mode via NAV would be perfect.

If I ever get the time, I may look at the code and see what I can do. I never use hunter mode, and the last time I made changes to the hunter code, I think it was for hoosierbilly. He was having troubles using his pet or something.
