wanted to pass it along here for those that might not look at that message board.
Haven't checked it out yet, have to head to work.

Hahah.. Um.. why is a belt used by great druids not druid usable? Sorry, Sony just cracks me up.

Never been to the plane of growth. I assume you need faction to do this quest and not get killed? Like, how would an iksar fare?

very very poorly. You are kos as an iksar. Think you have to be an elf of some sort or worship tunare to not be kos up there. Not 100% sure though.

I don't think an illusion will help in PoG. I know that if you kill three mobs in PoG, you become KoS.

Don't need faction to do this.
I did it the other night on my necro.

Just get the quest in elddar, then run to PoG.
I just warped to the turn-in NPC. I got aggroed but was still able to turn in the item and gate out :)

Elddar is a new zone in PoR. Southern Desert of Ro ==> Ruins of Takish-Hiz ==> Elddar.

Haven't done this yet, just looked up the information on Alla.

...

wow..

okay so faction, why the hell would it matter about being attacked?.. just warp.

south ro.. bottom left of top half of map.. near the npc at the zone wall.. when u zone into takish go straight to the swirling sand.. zone.. warp.. mission... zone growthplane.. hand in... done.

Question: First, has anyone thought of writing a macro for this? Second, would this be feasable for a 57 Dru in rogue shroud using hide/sneak?, or do too many mobs there see thru invis?
Thanks for the info BTW.

You could easily do it with that level of character. The problem may be, however, that you are too low for the mission. I haven't tried it with anyone that low, but since DoDH, the mission loot is usually tied to the chars doing the mission.

In other words, you might get something lower level in stats, or you might not even be allowed to do the mission (More likely).

I did this easily enough. Although not an elf or Tunare worshipper, I wasn't kos in PoG. I forgot to check if this gave any xp or not though. DId anyone notice any?

Anyone try this shrouded down yet? Same logic as the ole shrouded down sabotage?

doubt it owuld change the loot since it is not a mission just a given quest, but i could be wrong.

i did this on a cleric ( in rouge shroud form ) and took off shroud before turn in in pog.i still got the belt instead of the cape so i guess it depends on what form you are in when you get the mission

I would assume the loot is only on one table and only doable at some level.. say 56 or so? But that's just a guess.

Give it a try and tell us how it goes ;)

A macro would take about 10 times longer than the mission itself. As for the druid thing, you are the perfect class to do it if you haven't messed up PoG faction.

Although the orignal poster made it sound easy, it is actually easier than even he makes it sound ;). Give me a sec and I will write a step-by-step for you. Using warp of course.

Druid walkthrough:

Port to Sro.

Target (Crap I forgot his name.. he's a guy in the lower left quadrant of the upper half of the zone. Someone remind me of his name as I am at work.)

Warp to Target and look for a crevice in the ground nearby. This zones you to Takish Hiz.

Once there, run straight accross the zone but don't go through the arena looking thing (80th level baddie there). On the other side of the arena is a little stone looking stair thing with a duststorm/whirlwind on it. Step into it to go to Eldarr.

In Eldarr, target Speaker and warp target. Say "rest" to get missions. Pick "Tree heaven" and inventory the seeds.

Port to Wakening Lands. Target Phillip and warp target. Go up the ramps and click on the tree (invis if they don't like you).

Target dryad and warp target. Hand the seeds to the dryad (she is above your head so you need to look up sometimes) and receive you cloak.

Takes about 5 mins on a fast puter.

The NPC for hand in is indiff to all. I did it with my ogre war by dying once zoned in and dragged him up tree and noxp rezzed did turn in , poof Nice for a ogre on rallos deity

To get to Elddar you have to go to Southern Desert of Ro, go the part that was Oasis of Marr (you can see on the map where it splits). In the south west corner of OoM part there's a black rift kinda thing, just walk into that and you'll enter Ruins of Takish-Hiz.

Now, to get from Takish-Hiz to Elddar forrest, you have to walk to the colloseum thingie in the middle of the zone. DO NOT WALK INTO IT.. A bit north of that round colloseum thingie there's a broken stone formation/ramp cropping out of the sand, go up top on that, and you'll see a brown/black looking disc (half broken). Just walk on to that to zone to Elddar. Someone told me that a whirlwind would be on top of it, but I couldn't see it.

what level should you be at least to get the quest ?
can my bard 52 do it ?

very very nice post.....the last npc attacked me but no biggie...still took the seeds and gave me my belt:)

happy to give red cent(s) for this one .

Location for the Elddar zone out is 119.74 -102.18 97.04 this puts you right next to the port out at a safe spot.....

Location to port out of Wakening lands is 453.10 -1052.28 -21.25 this places you right under the globe to click to zone .......

And to answer the question for 61 to 70 no experience notice .... these are for 66 and above also and I could not get mission with a 52 ranger.
