Leveling - 105Mage/Enchanter Exp Spot

Here is my philosophy/practice on afking in Everquest and it has worked for 10 years.
DO NOT AFK WHERE IT INTERFERES WITH OTHER PEOPLE PLAYING EVERQUEST.
I afk'd testing Kiss in Grounds when it was hot zone for over a year, tons of people doing hunt quests, camping the easy ac aug, and leveling alts, etc. My spot pulled no named had all quest mobs and triggered spawns on ignore. Never once had an issue.
Up until about 2 months ago my group was right in the middle of brothers island. I was parked there 4 months after the expansion came out. Once again I pulled no named or place holders. All quest mobs on ignore.
Only issue was people in my camp when I would occasionally log off. When 10 toons logged in right on top of them they were like oh is this your spot?
I would say yes, kind of but what do you need?
Oh just trying to get my wizzie to 105
I would say, go for it. I got some other stuff to do will log in later. Problem solved.
If you are farming in a corner of Morrells Castle for plat no one gives a fuck. If your farming for plat but the spot constantly kills an easy mob thar drops a 35 ac aug you are going to get noticed.
I have always said it is really about common sense. AFK that camp for 3 days to get your toons that nice item you want great. Perma camping it to monopolize the item in the baz is going to cause problems.
Additionally, the spots that you read in these forums I would personally recommend that you don't show them to guildies or friends, Specifically the AFK spots in case some fellow RG or MQ peeps are nearby. There are many many spots not listed here. PLEASE Guard them, don't flaunt them, respect them, and no ass-hattery on named spawn spots
