What you need is 1 person who can gain mass agro without damage, SK or paladin. Have them build up huge agro, for atleast 5 minutes, and have them run out of range. Now when the agro'er is out of range, unload on valik with mass dps. He wont summon the tank if hes far enough out of range (dont port back to zone in), this takes awhile depending on dps, usually an hour of killing to finish him off. The last time I did it was a lil over a month ago, but there hasn't been any patches so it can still work.



edit: did this today and still worked. bst bard and ranger dps killed him in an hour or so. dropped some nice 345hp loot

Wont rampage if hes not attacking a tank.

Also, a good toon to get MASSIVE no dmg agro on would be an enchanter with tash.

Would back to the zone in area be far enough?

And isn't it possible to run so far away that you drop agro? Or is that the basis of the bug here?

Used a SK and built agro for 90minutes just to be safe. This has been live patched. Does not work.

Strat works well, for the first 10 minutes. At the 10 minute mark he memwipes and then whoever you're killing him with dies real fast =/
