A friend of mine recently patched to the DoD beta and then decided to play on EQ live. Well, he discovered something funny when he zoned to Nektulos forest. He was in the DoD version of Nektulos.

The reason I post this is because it MAY be possible to exploit under world using zones that won't port you to the zone in. Like, maybe replacing Ikkinz with the Arena or something like that. Since I don't have a bard and the petburn bug was nerfed I'm not going to test it, but I'd like some people to check it out and see what happens.

hmmm...sounds interesting because when DoN was released, my pok showed the Guild Lobby and new Baz entrances before those who did not beta. Might be an idea to try out is to mess w/the geometry because the laws that bind the mobs to the geometry is serverside and it appears laws that bind us to the geometry is local. Nice thinking there. :)

I remember reading reading an article long time ago about being able to remove trees and walls of the such from the landscape, is that still possible?

I do remember back when I used to play EQemu someone made a modded version of Arena using EQinside and gave it to players. I don't remember what else he did to it but it looked pretty damned cool. I may have it somewhere, I'll look for it now.

You actualy used to be able to remove the buildings and trees and stuff from the zone files but with the new zone files no one has built an editor yet it was fun to be able to kite without stuff blocking your los or getting mobs treed
