You can play without the patch by using patchme or autologin (preferred).
If you've already patched EQ you're out of luck. Please don't ask for someone here to share the eqgame.exe.

Q. Why no vial of swirling smoke?
A. Because it is a lore 1 use item that for some folks, depending on era, is expensive, possibly harder to get, and not something just casually used.
So I opt not to use it in mq2relocate, so you'll never be like ZOMG IT USED THIS THING THAT IS HARD TO GET.
