CroakWatch v0.86

CroakWatch v0.86 - a whole new interface + smarter tracking

  • Completely redesigned window - your camp list on the left, and a detail panel on the right showing everything about the selected named at once: timer bar, notes, spawn spots, settings, and its loot. No more digging through popups.
  • New per-named Notes - jot camp intel right on the mob ("PH is the gnoll by the tree"); saves automatically.
  • Get there faster - click a named's name to target it, and Nav buttons path you to the mob if it's up, or to its spawn spot if it's not.
  • Loot tab is now a hub - your watch list (sortable, with inventory/bank counts per item), a live feed of recent drops, and your all-time top drops.
  • Stats tab is now a dashboard - zone overview (what's up, what's due soon), all-time totals, and a most-killed leaderboard.
  • Recent kills + stats panels at the bottom of the main view; the Timers tab folded into a simple Due/Name sort.
  • Smarter kill counting - kills only count when you're actually there, so despawns and other players' kills no longer pollute your numbers or timers.
  • Roamer support - flag wandering named so they don't collect junk spawn-spot data.
CroakWatch v0.61 - new tabbed interface + big timer accuracy fixes

  • New tabbed layout - Camps, Timers, Loot, Stats, and Options are now their own tabs with icons, so the window's far less cramped.
  • New Timers tab - a quick "who pops soon" board: every camp you're tracking, sorted by which is due next, shown as countdown bars at a glance.
  • Tidier window - its own minimize/close buttons, a fixed width, drags cleanly (and can dock into other windows).
  • Zone Watch upgrade - click the "in zone" player count to open a pinned list you can scroll and sort by name or level (handy in packed zones like PoK).
  • Sound toggles moved into their own Options tab.
  • Fixed: timers freezing in busy camps - in crowded rooms kills weren't always detected, so countdowns could stick. They now track reliably.
  • Fixed: respawn times reading way too short - the timer now learns the named's real respawn instead of the faster placeholder cycle. (Old inaccurate timing data is cleared once on update so it relearns clean - your kill counts, placeholders, and loot are kept.)
CroakWatch v0.45 - Quick Reply 🐸

Answer without alt-tabbing away from the fight. When a tell or OOC shows up in your Camp Watch feed, hit reply and pick a canned message - it sends back in kind: a tell replies privately to the sender, an OOC posts publicly (handy for showing you're a live player at a contested camp).

  • Your own presets - add, edit, and remove canned replies in the new Quick Replies panel (a few are included to start).
  • You're always in control - nothing sends on its own; you click the reply you want, every time.
CroakWatch v0.44 - EMU crash fix 🐸

  • Fixed an EMU crash when closing the window. On EMU, clicking the X to close CroakWatch could crash the whole EQ client. That's fixed - it now shuts down cleanly.
EMU users, this is the one to grab. (Live was unaffected.)
CroakWatch v0.43 - smarter camp tracking 🐸

  • Named with multiple spawn spots are now handled properly. If a named can pop in a few different nearby spots, CroakWatch learns all of them (you'll see an @x2, @x3 badge) instead of getting stuck watching just the first one.
  • More accurate timers at messy camps. If a placeholder shares its name with common trash mobs elsewhere in the zone, killing that trash no longer throws off the named's respawn timer - the timer now keys off the actual camp spot.
  • Existing camps carry over automatically - nothing to redo.
CroakWatch v0.42 - quality-of-life fixes 🐸

  • Remove a mob - the Edit window now has a Remove button, so you can delete a named you added (or no longer want to track).
  • Clearer when there's nothing to track - open CroakWatch in a zone with no Hunter achievement and it now tells you that's why the list is empty, instead of looking broken.
  • Cleaner first launch - no more harmless-but-confusing error message the first time you open the script.
CroakWatch v0.41 - Camp Watch tidy-up 🐸

  • Clear button - clear the Camp Watch feed any time (open the section and hit Clear). Handy if you leave CroakWatch running across camps.
  • Auto-clears when you change zones - the feed wipes itself on a zone change, so you're not staring at the last camp's chatter.
  • Under the hood: a more efficient player scan for Zone/Camp Watch (no visible change).
CroakWatch v0.39 🐸

  • The scroll bar on the Named list now matches the theme - rounded and purple, like the buttons.
CroakWatch v0.38 - Camp Watch 🐸

Don't miss what matters while you camp - especially AFK. CroakWatch now keeps a running feed of what's happening around you.

  • One feed for everything - a new "Camp Watch" panel at the bottom logs, with timestamps: players entering your zone, all OOC, and tells sent to you. Color-coded so tells and OOC are easy to tell apart at a glance.
  • It blinks when something lands - the Camp Watch header pulses (even while collapsed), so a glance back from AFK catches anything new. Click it to open and clear the blink.
  • It chimes - a soft knock when a tell or OOC comes in. Tells always ring; busy OOC is throttled so it won't machine-gun you. Toggle the sound with the speaker icon.
  • No clutter - the feed lives in memory and clears when you restart; it won't bloat your settings.
Built for camp safety: a missed tell or OOC while you're away can be costly - now you'll see (and hear) it.
CroakWatch v0.37 - Zone Watch 🐸

Know when your camp might get company. CroakWatch now keeps an eye on who else is in your zone.

  • Who's in your zone - a count of other players (not counting your group) right under the zone name, color-coded: grey when it's clear, amber when a few are around, red when it's crowded.
  • See exactly who - hover the count for the list: each player's name, level, class, and guild.
  • Heads-up on arrivals - the moment a new player enters your zone you get a chat message and a dark alert chime, so you know when a camp might get contested.
  • No spam - whoever's already there when you arrive won't set it off; only genuinely new arrivals alert.
  • On/off toggle - a checkbox turns the whole feature on or off. The alert sound also follows your main Sound setting.
The alert sound is swappable like the others - drop your own intruder.wav into the sounds folder.
