City of Mist for me. Enjoyed it at release either on my monk pulling it, or my cleric just sitting for hours on end catching up with friends in chat.

Folks are already going nuts in my small country town. I'm just happy to be off tomorrow. Can game all day and throw something on the smoker. Too much beer, too much good food, and too much EQ!

Pal/Dru/Enc/Wizx3 has been pretty fun for me, granted only 87 atm but super easy to run. To answer OP and not de-rail the thread, my enchanter has worked just fine with KA and I find the class useful. Hopefully that will continue in the higher levels, but I am no power player by any means.

I just like seeing my /played continue to grow up, kind of like a child I never had. The friends that I made back in 1999 are family today, I wouldn't trade those friendships for the world. That's what keeps me playing.

After my successes with EQ/MQ2 via steam and mint, and feeling full of myself, I took the plunge with CachyOS, Hyperland, Wayland, and wine 10. Currently have EQ and MQ2 running (albiet with several small issues) but I have to say, wine 10 really is a game changer!

Yea I have EQ running in Steam just fine. Last night I worked awhile at it and got MQ2 to run via steam as well. It was a bit of a job, but now when I fire up EQ via steam it fires up MQ2 as well. So far so good!

Anyone gotten it to work with the steam client? I would think its just a prefex setup, but im still new to linux. I've gotten it to launch but it never catches the eq process. Ill keep plugging away at it however!

I came back at the beginning of the year, and started here shortly after. I also main the bard. I built a group around him, all FTP (war/sha/enc/mag/bst) and they are all 70-80. So figure 2-3 months with playing a few hours a week (mostly in larger blocks on weekends). I am starting to slow down...

I have been working on the same 4 (war/Clr/Brd/Shm) but I went with a mage and rogue. Granted mine are all in their 60s but the way I understand it, is a mix is better than all of one way or the other due to melee or spell immune (unless that's only really for raid mobs?). I'll be curious what...
