IRL - Congratulations on the first build from the new test/live update team!

I promise you guys would rather have them get it right then to rush this and get accounts banned because they missed something.

Using a debugger to find the offsets after that you need to deal with the detection methods they're using to catch MQ. Its a time consuming task that has only gotten harder recently even for the previous team. If you look at the last few updates it was taking longer each time to do it. The...

that would imply they test on beta though. We all know that dont happen.

MQ is open source. Anyone building a release would be using the same source as RG or other sites. Very few people in the MQ community are capable of updating it for live themselves .

Request - What would you like to see?

You really have to or the heat becomes an issue or the fans run on full speed the entire time and that gets loud. I found if you lower the CPU voltage you can achieve 95% of the same performance in benchmarks and eliminate the heat issues.

Request - What would you like to see?

god i hope 128gbs is enough to run an emu server for a game from 1999 🤣

The problem is the amount of work it requires. Anyone doing it as a hobby etc will get burned out it becomes a 2nd job that doesnt pay and in todays world you cant spend that much time on a hobby that feels like a job that doesnt pay you.

if they were making six figures doing it im sure they would still be doing it.

Not sure how EMU servers would be any better. They have gone after EMU servers more then they have tried to actually stop people from using MQ

    Question - Hardware Upgrade Time

nah i just looked up the price when posting it. 128gbs is 1k-1200 right now but thats 2x64gb. 4x32 is $2k Thankfully i bought 128 gbs in june for $350

    Question - Hardware Upgrade Time

I can tell you im running 85 toons on a 7950x and 85 on a 9950x and you only see about a 10% difference in CPU workload. For a 40-50 person raid you want more cores and more ram. 256gbs of DDR5 is going to be 2k-2500 just by itself.

    Question - Hardware Upgrade Time

the 7950x should have the same ram a 9950x motherboard would use so you're probably good there. However you wont see the performance increase worth the cost. Your best option would be a threadripper more cores more threads. When running 50-80 toons on one PC you want more ram more cores and...

    Question - Fellowship Experience

the best way is to share when capped because you're sharing it all. 11 capped toons feeding into 1 is the fastest way to max AAs.
