I had a similar issue where the group got wipe because they were maybe too far from chanter so he did not mezz, now I make him melee assist the group on target and I didnt had any problems since.

wow cool to know is there any target level before you can raid those mob? because from what I remember from the old days and the p99 servers its impossible even with a full level 60 group to kill some encounters
