A TLP without truebox has thawed (Very Vanilla ready)
You may have to change eqemu_config.json. If you're running locally you need to have address and localaddress to be your IP. I'm pretty sure localaddress defaults to 127.0.0.1.
Like so (substitute my IP with your IP)...
"world": {
"api": {
"enabled": false
},
"address"...
It sure is. I run the server on an old laptop with no problems. I then connect to it from a different computer on the same local network.
You could run the client and server on the one computer but it would need to be more beefy.
https://docs.eqemu.io/akk-stack/introduction/ is a good place to...
If I understand correctly you are running a local server? If so your loginserver needs to point to the IP address of the computer on your local network that is running the server.
For example:
[LoginServer]
Host=192.168.1.28:5999
I'm pretty sure if you are using the ROF client the port will be...
Apologies. I didn't mean it was the only way, just the easiest/best way in my opinion (the old Linux server installer is currently broken so it may be the only way for Linux at the moment).
My local server runs on an old laptop running Ubuntu. The Docker installation was simple - I just...
Akk-stack is the way to go and Spire is now automatically installed as part of akk-stack.
For the client, don't forget

I don't hate any classes but voted 'zerkers due to the axe mechanic. I may be missing something but can't see how it adds to the gameplay of the class.
I play on test and love it. I like to have a few different groups with different makeups. My wife would death touch me if I subbed 18+ accounts so test is the best option for me due to all accounts being gold. I play in off peak hours but there are still some people about. The people tend to be...
Yes! Despite giving my tongue-in-cheek "cookie cutter" answer, I swapped my zerk for a ranger and love it. I swap between ranged or melee (if space is tight in a dungeon for example) and it still does great dps. My "a-team" group is shd, shm (with rez stick), brd, rog, rng and bst. I have a lot...
1. Not anymore but in the old days, travelling through a dungeon with Invis/ITU and knowing that if it dropped I was dead with a painful CR ahead of me. The fear was real!
2. Death adders. They are quite prolific where I live.
3. When it looks like a pet dog might get killed by the bad guy.
There may be a property on OGP_SoundVolumeSlider with the value but I can't see it.
However, if you look at the Text property of OGP_SoundVolumeValueLabel, it has the value (with the percent sign).
This might be what you are after...
It's a long shot but try disabling the frame limiter or having it set to render every five seconds or so. I had a problem with high memory usage with eq instances that were being frame limited. Memory usage would rise until my pc ground to a halt. I say it's a long shot as it would happen to me...
MQ2Status might be what you are looking for. Specifically /status achievement achievement name
For example, if I enter /status achievement Hunter of The Eastern Wastes I get the following
