Hey, good day to you :) Noticing a little issue with SK casting Kanghammer's Carapace Rk II. (lvl 123) instead of their Soul Carapace XV Rk II. (lvl 128) Here's the info... Thanks in advance :)

... And yet, the problem persists. She is obsessed with this spell line for whatever reason that I cannot identify. **Edit : I think I may have found the culprit, at least on my end. Turned HealWard : Protective Revelation to Off here ... ... As well as having it off in...

Seems that my 120 paladin on live just loves to chain cast Protective Revelation ( listed as HealWard in downtime rotation ) Turning this off in downtime rotation and just attaching the spell to my spam key was my workaround for now. PS. This was happening both before and after the most recent...

I have never really "waffled" between tanks, but I do have this tendency with dps classes. Monk has always been a long time staple for me personally, but lately I have parked the monk in favor of ranger... The head-shotting exp for the entire group is insane and always fun to watch. Same thing...

Some clickies to keep in mind if you're ever playing a pure melee class (or boxing one)... -Drunkard's Stein (30 min CD PoK port) from Anniversary quest ... Great when Throne is on cooldown. -Cleansing Rod (Cure clicky) amazing utility -Venenium (Cure better than cleansing rod) -Blood...

Necro pet can absolutely tank, but there's a caveat to it. You need to be running the best Raid level EM earring you can get... in your case x 4. My advice is to put 1 mage in the party, 3 necros and the druid can buff / heal / port everyone :) Only reason being, then you only need 1 raid level...

Honestly I love all the hype surrounding the EQ name in general. On the few live servers that I'm still on regularly (checking krono prices) there's a bunch of chatter going on surrounding EQL, but it's happening in live Everquest. I'm with Sic on this, if it brings in more people to also check...

Reading through all the lovely positive and negative feedback on this game leaves me feeling like staying away is the right move. You kids have fun! :)

Great 3 Box for starters, SK & Shaman pair perfectly together and Mage brings all the fire. My personal 6 box for the most fun in SoR is as follows... SK, Shaman, Mage, Bard, Berserker, Ranger... Between all of them the SK is rocking a 1mil to 1.5mil Damage Shield and all stat buffs are covered...

Thanks everyone for your hard work! Appreciate the team here very much, left a lil something on the night stand for ya...

You can sort of do this manually, as Sic described by just generally avoiding people and busy camps. There are many ways to keep tabs on which camps are busy, of course doing a /enter to see how many are in zone is always a good idea. Then you can determine if a /pickzone is up. I usually look...

I'm going to take you back in time to the winter of 2005. Fireplace is crackling away with flames roaring as my roommates and I crack open celebratory drinks after a long work day. We all have our desks setup along the longest corner of our basement opposite the fireplace. My friends log in...

Not sure what's going on here, but it seems like maybe a rotational issue with the fight. Abolishion is especially bad for DoT classes, favoring bursts. I know that the top necromancers in my main's raid guild are pumping 2-3 million more dps than anyone else (even monks & rogues) on the longer...

Maybe someone mentioned it already, but if not I'd like to point out an all Troll group... hear me out! Trolls can't be stunned from the front, can be Warrior or SK so there's your tank. They can also be Shaman, Beastlords and Berserkers. So, there's a solid group right there. Of course Trolls...

I'd start by just saying DBG really missed their mark with this SoR expansion. It's not like we haven't seen this before (looking at you Broken Mirror) where DB wants to "challenge" players by way of difficult zone traversal and baked in annoyances, not to mention a host of bugs with quests...
