I don't think there is an equivalent normal player song to the "Symphony of Battle" buff on the Rapier of Somber Notes (longevity wise at least).
It lasts 30 mins for me at 115 and hits the whole group.
The bards on magelo all seem to still have it in their inventories at 120.
Conflicting shortcut in some other program you are running perhaps? Could try temporarily making it something else to see if it works then.
Also make sure the "BossMode" key hasn't somehow become ctrl-z too.
This is what I have which works:
[MacroQuest]
BossMode=NUMPAD9
CycleNextWindow=NUMPAD8
Right click your Everquest folder, choose "properties" then select Advanced (under the "General" tab).
You can then deselect "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties"
When you click OK you will then be given the option to apply the change to...
Open the "macroquest.ini" file which is in your next folder within the config subfolder. You can then change the following line to whatever you want (ctrl+z in your case):
CycleNextWindow=ctrl+z
There is some more information from the developers in this thread if you are interested...
It's a known Everquest bug which can't be fixed until the patch in January. Nothing you can do until then unfortunately:
Overseer: Agents not recovering - still not fixed
/afollow uses the mq2advpath plugin.
If you don't have it loaded you could load it on all characters by doing something like:
/bcaa //plugin mq2advpath load
You could use a cfg file.
I have attached an example.
Edit the path to suit your mp3, then change the filename to your server short name and character name.
It would then go into the "config" folder if using Next, or the "configs" folder if using MQ2.
It might be the window for MQ2Nav.
Try:
/plugin mq2nav unload
Then:
/plugin mq2nav load
After doing that typing the command "/nav ui" into the mq window should toggle displaying the in-game user interface.
Make sure "Max. Background fps" is set to at least 30 and preferably 60+ in the EQ options (Alt-o) display tab in the advanced section on all your characters.
This seems to work (select character 1 of Group one as it is listed in the raid window):
/notify RaidWindow RAID_PlayerList listselect 1
/notify RaidWindow RAID_MainAssistButton leftmouseup
