Just an alternative way to make plat...old world spell drops vendor quite nicely actually. Korascian Warrens and Rathe Council Chambers both have several camps where you'll score Blue Diamonds, Diamonds, and TONS of 80-85 spell drops.

@Sic just to circle back and kinda put this issue to bed... This problem only seems to manifest when using a merc as MT. I brought in my paladin to the group and set him as the MT and the problem did not reproduce. I suspect that mercs don't initiate an attack call and that these plugins cue...
