What about DPS though? I did put some consideration into this combo before creating my current three toons. I didn't like the lack of ports, but, yeah, a pocket wiz or druid could suffice for that. I'm thinking that melee mercs with shaman + bard buffs might be able to hold a candle to caster...

At level 56, especially if mobs are slowed (single pulls), with a J1 tank merc, heals seem unnecessary. That along with a wizard plus 2 dps mercs, things die in maybe 10 seconds usually. I know this won't be doable forever, once mobs start hitting much harder.

I run the little "MQ2EQBC Server" via the shortcut that's on my desktop (I'm guessing it was placed there when I installed the RG Very Vanilla MQ2 build). I can tell my guys to hail NPCs and whatnot. I have them set to autojoin the mq2eqbc server...

Yeah, I haven't been suspending my mercs at all yet (my toons are only in their teens, level wise). I didn't realize that's what caused it. Is the only way around that to suspend all three mercs (on my three boxes) before sending the group invites?
